Very disappointing. The gas engineer agreed to come to my property within 45 mins and never showed up. He did not even bother to call me to let me know he wasn't coming and ignored my text messages.
Response : I would like to challenge what you have said in your review. You had said that you had a faulty gas valve, how you came to that conclusion only from an error code showing on the control panel in your boiler I'm not quite sure. After explaining that it might not be the case and would diagnose the problem when I got there, you asked me would I charge you for the work, which at first I thought was a trick question. When asked what you meant buy that you responded, " if it's not a faulty gas valve and only a small problem, are you going to charge me " to which I replied "of course".
Then you proceeded to ask how much will it be and as I told you on the phone, it would be impossible for me to answer that as I have not seen the boiler yet. So I agreed 45 minutes and I would be there. 10 minutes later you called me again to ask how much it would be to which I gave the same answer. Also, when asked how I would be paid after visiting the property as you were not living there you hung up the phone. So after all that I decided not to attend to save myself any hassle from a potential difficult customer. This site should have a review section for the customers as well as the tradesmen as It could let others know to think twice before attending certain customers who seem to want something for nothing.Moreexpand_more
