Dennis recently built a room divider between two downstairs rooms; he built the framework around the opening and finished with two Howden's glass doors. The result is first-class, just what we wanted. Dennis's attention to detail is meticulous and he even cleans up as he goes along! Would recommend him for any carpentry job.

Dennis did a fantastic job for us on our Kitchen Worktop, we required a masons miter join and Dennis left the worktop with a practically invisible join, very nice chap indeed. You can tell just by watching Dennis at work he prides himself on doing top quality work. Would highly recommend.

I rang D&S joinery off the back of these reviews, and was not disappointed. I had some oak worktops and cornices fitted to a kitchen. Dennis was very neat, quick and tidy. I had forgotten to tell him about the cornices when he first quoted on the job, but he went out of his way to ensure the work was completed in its entirety. Highly recommended.

Dennis has undertaken a number of joinery jobs for us, including building and fitting two alcove cupboards in a living room, supplying and replacing a cellar door; hanging a kitchen door (including glazing), re-configuring interior wardrobe and new handles so have more hanging space and he's also managed to open a top stained glass window that had years and years of layers of paint and fitted a new opening arm. He's also cut down a table top so it fits neatly inside an alcove and hung a full length mirror in one of the bedrooms. The work is of high quality, nothing is too much trouble and his charges are extremely reasonable - I have never felt over charged or ripped off. I would recommend Dennis for all joinery jobs - his work is commendable.

Dennis and John were absolutely fantastic I couldn't recommend them enough. It was a bespoke job of making drawers and inbuilt wardrobe and I'm so delighted with the results. There are not many of Dennis left, the old school of perfect joinery skills. Thanks Dennis and John.

Dennis called me the day after I posted the job to have internal doors fitted. He came and had a look quoted there and then and we arranged for him to come back the following day. They were very pleasant and got the job finished in a afternoon. Would definitively use them again. A job well done, they cleaned up themselves. Spot on.

This is the second time I have used this company, I have just moved house and needed a lot of jobs doing such as a huge craft cupboard building, locks changing, grab rails installation and so much more. Dennis made the alcove featuring at the top of this page, as well as fitting new floors and a really cool storage unit under our staircase… oh! And he also fitted new internal doors. So, we keep calling him, that is how happy we are with his work! So, yes! Highly recommended. Only thing is he does not like Earl Gray tea (unless you leave the bag soaking long and put some maple syrup).

Thorough professional. He has built a staircase and the wardrobe in my cellar. Dennis made it possible to build the staircase and also the wardrobe with the impossible dimensions and that too without any wastage! He is full of ideas due to his vast experience and will certainly use him again and again.
