I searched around online looking to get my drain unblocked I got a few quotes off different companies, I ended up going with drainage experts, they booked me in and was with me the same day. His name was Michael he diagnosed the problem straight away and got it all sorted for me he was very professional and had lots of knowledge and tips on how to prevent it from happening again, many thanks drainage experts would definitely recommend.

It was quite a difficult repair on our drainage system as another company tried to fix it but couldn’t, Michael had the very latest equipment and was able to do the repair, we found him very knowledgeable in his field and the cost was very reasonable as we had been quoted higher by several others we had contacted. Michael booked our appointment and was exactly on time and completed the work on time. Highly recommend this company for all Ðráin problems and they will do everything they can to make sure it’s resolved 5 stars from us.

DO NOT USE THIS GUYS. I just paid 290 for this guys and they came and couldn’t open the drain. The left the site and now I opened it myself and the they saying I need to pay again 290 for the survey that not has been done. Believe it or not.

Drainage experts were great, no messing around. They did the job quickly and professionally for considerably less than other companies quoted. Very happy!

I had an issue after a basement refit and a new extension where we were having water leaking into the basement and no one could give us a solution so we researched different companies and saw various reviews on this company where they helped people other companies couldn’t so we thought let’s give them a go, our first conversation lasted over 30 minutes and they were in no hurry to get me off the phone which was a great start. I ended up speaking to the owner who’s name was Michael he gave me 2 sensible solutions so 48 hrs later their engineer arrived who was extremely knowledgeable not just in his field but general building works and after 2 hour investigation he found the issue it was a broken pipe where the gully connects to the pipe and this was running down the back of the wall causing the damp in the lower basement it’s now been 6 weeks since the repairs and already the downstairs basement has dried out and the damp smell has gone.

I waited for nearly 8 months to write this review and I never write reviews but this company certainly deserves this review. Luckily we found this company as there has been an ongoing issue with our drains now for over 2 years and we have had countless drain and plumbing companies try to resolve the issue with no results and lots of costs, we had lost all hope of a solution until our new builder recommended this company, Michael answered our call and I explained the issues we were having, Michael came out 2 days later early morning as I had to go to work and after 30 minutes with his equipment assured us he had found the fault, it had been a gully our previous builder had removed but left the pipe work going to the manhole in the garden and rats were entering through this. Michael said he would come the next day to fix the problem we paid the deposit as per their company policy and true to his word was back the next day and did the repairs now after 8 months there has been no issues and we are so relieved we can not express our thanks to Michael and his team, first class service and they are indeed the experts.

Thank you for your quick and professional work on our ageing drains as there had been an on going issue for the last 3 years and several contractors failing to diagnose the problem so you guys succeed where others failed we really can't thank you enough. The issue we had was a rat infestation approximately 6 months after an extension we had built and your lead engineer found the defect and told us what was required to fix it and we can honestly say it's fixed now after 3 long years and sleepless nights Again thank you very much your a credit to your industry we will pass your details on to others.

I used Drainage experts for drain relining on a broken drain inside my property. Drainage experts did cctv to show me the damage and provided a solution by relining with a polyester liner. Absolutely fantastic service, that I would use again for any drainage issues.

We had a rat problem after our extension was built. We tried other companies but they could not offer us a solution. We then can across Drainage Experts. They carried ouat another cctv survey and gave us a solution on the spot. They returned 2 days later to conplete the work, and now 4 months on no horrible rats. The speed of turnaround on email communication, booking in and completing the work was exceptional. The drain issue I had was identified in my house survey and had become a real problem. I was able to see the issue on a DVD taken by the cctv camera and have a written report that explained the damage and proposed solution. I was onsite when the drain sleeving was carried out. Michael didn't stop all day to make sure the work was carried out efficiently and correctly as the resins have a short window before they set. His attention to the job and due diligence to make it work was excellent. He worked in conjunction with my builders to ensure they were clear on the works done, and for them to take over the rest of the drain work. I would highly recommend Drainage Expert. I am really pleased with the service.

I needed a drain survey in response to a Wesminister investigating my drains. I could have googled someone as they all look very good on paper and offered the same services. I was lucky enough to be recommended Michael and thank goodness I instructed him. He is very reliable, honest, professional, extremely knowledgable in his field and gets the job done with no fuss and to a high standard. Michael gave me advice and guidance all the way through my problem and all his predictions were correct and backed up with evidence. With an esoteric area of sewages/drainage, you really need someone you can trust and knows their stuff. I highly recommend Michael if you want peace of mind, value of money and the job done.

Thank you Michael and his team for the Stirling work done on my ageing drainage system. We did have a previous drainage company try to resolve this issue who were intent on making a big drama out of it, with no solution just costs for site visits, so we decided to look elsewhere. We came across Drainage Experts Ltd on the internet and decided to use them based on other customers reviews. Michael came out at a very early appointment for me as I work in the city he done some high pressure jetting to our chamber which was now 90% full of sewer waste and then a CCTV survey to see the cause of the problem. He gave us a fixed clear price over the phone before e arrived so we knew exactly what the costs would be. Michael found the issue within the time frame he had stated which was refreshing as the other company could not, he found a badly damaged interceptor which was causing the constant blockages and the nasty horrible smells we kept getting, so we agreed for them to return the following morning to carry out the repairs and also fit a non return valve. We paid for the work with our direct debit card as we had to pay the full cost of the repair works due to having it done the very next morning as there was material ect to pay for and true to their word they arrived at the agreed time completed the repair works and explained everything they were doing as well as supplying CCTV footage of the repair process, we could not be happier, no more blockages or nasty sewer smells. An excellent, quick service Michael is a credit to his profession its certainly not a nice job to do but they did it with professionalism and took pride in their work. I googled drain expert as was despairing as no drainage company was assisting me (as no access point) with my problem - to identify where bathroom plumbed in to in regard to building regs over 14 year old. (Ive only owned 10 years). Found Michael, who initially gave advice on the phone. After further discussions and reviewing pictures, he found a way to access behind the toilet and now hoping the video and his report will satisfy Council. His advice and time, and prompt attention, greatly appreciated. An expensive mistake - buying an indemnity to cover building regs, and the cost of having to contract expert and expensive equipment to confirm OK. But at least Michael has helped me to confirm that (I hope! ).

I was made to feel intimidated by the bully who came to attach my waste pipe to the existing soil pipe in the ground. I anticipated being ripped off being a single woman with no experience in plumbing and drainage but was assured by everyone who looked at the job at hand that it would take less than an hour to connect. The expert arrived as scheduled, however he had no material and sent me to get what he needed on three consecutive occasions. He had informed me that the job could take up to two hours and explained that it was an hourly rate. He than told me he would be using his camera and honestly I couldn't understand why it was necessary as the pipe work was visibly exposed. Apparently his camera broke underground and so "the expert" dug an additional hole in the cemented floor to retrieve his camera damaging more of my flooring. I was billed for over £900 to connect two pipes in an already exposed hole as he said it took him 5 hours. When I reluctantly queried the invoice he became extremely irritated and argumentative and told me I should have gone elsewhere and that any other workman would have dragged the job on for a lot longer! I explained that I was not informed about the £220 cost of using his camera and that I had no interest in seeing inside the pipes and in any event I had been off site for the majority of the time he was working looking for things he claimed he needed…He was expecting to be paid in cash and was annoyed that I would have to issue him with a cheque even though the invoice states clearly that it is an accepted payment method. In all honesty I had anticipated being ripped off and £300 would have been believable but I am astonished by the greed and dishonesty of this company and urge anyone considering them to think again or pay astronomical prices.Moreexpand_more

We had problems with the drains under our conservatory which had allowed rats access. Michael came and found the cause of the problem and gave us a DVDs of the cctv footage so we could be sure what the problem was. He and his team came back this morning to reline the drains and put a non return valve in so that rats would not be able to come back up the pipes. They were very efficient, reassuring, polite, and friendly, leaving another DVD so that we can see that the work has been completed. Thank you. MK.

I dont normally write reviews but in this instance its very warranted. We have had a problem with bad smells for over 4yrs and recently a rat infestation in this time we must have had 8 different drainage companies come and try to figure out the problem with solutions from jetting to relining our drains and one company even suggesting a new drainage system at a massive cost. We were disalusioned with so many different opinions and suggestions to remedy the problem finally Michael turned up and we really didnt expect much as with the other companies untill he started to ask certain questions that the other drainage companies did not ask and as we got further into the conversation Michael was able to tell us what he suspected the problem may be, he then proceeded to do a full cctv survey as did the others but unlike the others Michael picked up on something every company before him had missed which I cant go into any more detail at this time as we are now taking a legal case against our builders, I cant praise Michael and his company enough they are an absolute gem in an industry that clearly needs more experienced engineers. Michael and his team on their next visit fixed our problem and already the difference is like night and day we are so pleased we found this company and we will be keeping their number in our diary as they are a company that can be trusted and with knowledge second to none and now looking at previous reviews its easy to see why they are so well thought of and I will be giving them a big 5* from myself and my family a very big thank you.
