Double Image Photography

I have recently had some photos taken by Philippa for my website. I was feeling a bit awkward about it! But Phillippa’s friendly and relaxed approach really put me at ease and I ended up enjoying it! Philippa is so friendly and chatty too, the different poses were requested as part of a natural conversation so it didn’t feel fake or stilted. The photos are always incredibly good quality and they got across the feel I wanted, natural but professional. We also had a family photo shoot at Double Image 14 years ago when the children were young and we had a very active 2 year old. Philippa was brilliant with him and again she had a lovely natural approach and we all had so much fun at the session and the older children loved it! We have some beautiful family photos which we still have up in the house as they have a classic feel - black and white. We have had several sessions now at Double Image - a 'Bump to Baby' package with our first, and more recently a family shoot just after our third baby. Philippa and her team are so welcoming and make us feel relaxed and not pushed for time. During one shoot, when our little girl was only 2 weeks old and clearly not in the mood for photos, Philippa kindly rearranged for a few weeks later at no extra cost. The photos are always beautiful, and the packages reasonably priced.

We’ve recently visited Double Image for a family photo shoot and could not be happier with the pictures that Phillipa has taken. They capture us perfectly. Phillipa has a great eye. From this visit and previous packages we have had, her work never fails to amaze us. We can not recommend her work highly enough.

We had a wonderful time at the studio when our 5 grandchildren had several photos taken. Our own 3 children and their partners joined us and we have now received some excellent photographs of ud all. A moment in time captured for all time! The photographer, Philippa, couldn’t have been more helpful or patient with us all.

We won a photoshoot in a competition and used it for our six month old daughter. The whole experience with Philippa was friendly, fun and professional and despite my daughter not playing ball on occasion (she had just begun crawling) we ended up with so many beautiful photos. Philippa was also very acommodating when we popped back on two separate occasions with the Grandmothers who also purchased prints. Highly recommended.

We were gifted a photo session by a friend and didn't know what to expect. Philippa and her assistance were welcoming and professional. She captured amazing photos of our baby boy and of us as a family. It was immensely hard to choose which ones we wanted to keep as they were all so good.

My family has used Philippa at double image for quite a while and when they suggested to use double image I followed it up by emailing Philippa and asking for advise to which she replied quickly, with detailed prices and what to do next. The photo turned out amazing and Philippa did exactly what we asked! Amazing service will definitely use again.

I bought a groupon coupon and it happened to be such a lovely experience. Philippa is a friendly individual and she is an expert in what she does. At the end, we received a very well organized package with beautiful photos in it.

I arranged a family portrait for my parents 80th birthday. Philipa was very helpful and patient and took a great deal of photographs. My parents chose the photographs they wanted so can not comment much on this but my mum was over the moon. The photographs are of high quality and capture the occasion perfectly. What else can I say except my mum loves them.

The whole experience was fantastic, as a family of 4 with a 8month old I was concerned that we'd get a great photo, Philippa was brilliant took loads of shot in different positions and to be honest it was hard to pick there was so many beautiful photos to choose from. We booked Phillipa for our Wedding in May, Phillipa was very professional throughout the whole day, she put us all including our guests at ease whilst taking the photographs. We were exceptionally happy with the end result, the pictures captured the whole day, excellent colour and black and white shots are now a perfect reminder of our special day. I have had family portraits which were breathtaking. I have had the best passport photographs I have ever had taken. I am very much looking forward to seeing my sons wedding photographs which I know will become lifetime treasures. This photographer has won national awards and quite rightly so.

The worst photographs that I have ever seen- even from an amateur photographer, bad lighting and absolutely no eye for any detail whatsoever. I won a portrait of my cat and also wanted to include myself in it with him, so to buy an additional large canvas photo and have it on the wall as a memory when he is gone bless him but I just cant believe how much messing about there was to go and see these photographs. Usually when a photographer has finished the shots you can choose the ones you want there and then and collect it a day or two later. At this place it was a tiny studio with no facilities like you would expect, looks like a rented bedsit turned makeshift studio and it is always deserted like they are struggling for customers. I wonder why. All in all it will take you over a month to get one picture and about three trips to the studio to sort it out in totally unnecessary stages. I have previously worked in modelling and I work in the entertainment field and I must say that I I looked like something from a halloween movie my fair skin looked like a burnt orange tango colour and my poor cat just looked miserable throughout the shots. So unfortunately I just would'nt waste your money or time, I went to another photographer in Nottingham and the results were awesome! There were many photographs to choose from and no silly music and frills to try and make you buy when you view them. Philippa and her team have photographed my family, my business and me on a number of occasions. This includes corporate work, family, pets, foodstuffs and (not least) our wedding. Every time she has delivered exceptional work, fulfilling the brief perfectly, with a professional and friendly approach. An excellent service.

We recently used Double Image photography for a Bus Advertising campaign we were doing for Beeston. Philippa was very professional and was very good at putting our slightly nervous model at ease. I Have used Double Image Photography regularly for over 8 years for both commercial and personal use. Philippa and her team always work around my availability and manage to capture the true essence of the products that I am using. Whenever I get the copy prints back I always struggle to chose the appropriate picture as they are all so good.

We've used Double Image at least three times over the last five years as our family has grown. Its great to have such fantastic images to capture your kids as they grow up. School photos are fine for the distant relatives, but if you want something of real quality go to Philipa. The sittings take around an hour, but allow her to try out all sorts of positions and poses which give you a nice selection of photos to chose from. Philipa was great with the kids and managed to capture really natural smiles and laughter. And now you know why we keep going back!
