I got Donmac Solutions in to refresh my drive and they did a fantastic job. This was one of my first big projects on a household and they took me through each step and the details which filled me with confidence. Once the work started, Kurtis and his team worked tirelessly to get the project complete to the timings even against the horrendous weather. It's now been a month on and my driveway still looks fantastic, the craftmanship on the brick work and pillars are excellent and the tarmac is smooth as anything. Thank you Donmac for the cracking job.

The original job was to lift and relay all the slabs on the driveway leading up to the garage but after some advice from Ricky the MD and his workman Matt we decided to change the order to have Tigula block paving fitted instead. This has turned out absolutely lovely, so we are extremely happy that we changed the order. The shed was knocked down and taken away and a concrete base built ready for a new building. We had some edging fitted to keep my flower borders from overflowing with soil. The garage facias were upgraded from wooden to UPVC covering and this has made such a difference to the look of the garage. The manhole covers were changed to recess manhole covers and look so much better than before. Matt and Luke were very helpful, informative and friendly and so was another guy called Matt who changed our facias. Ricky kept us up to date every step of the way and nothing was too much trouble. Even the guys who took the rubble away were very accommodating. We would not hesitate to use Donmac Solutions again and recommend everyone to do the same.Moreexpand_more

We are very happy with our new outside wall and gates, both metal and wooden. The quality of work by the bricklayers and joiners was exceptional. Although we changed our minds several times regarding what we wanted, Ricky and his team would always accommodate us and understand, and ultimately finish the work to our great satisfaction. Would highly recommend.

After a burst pipe, Donmac fixed the damp throughout the property and renovated it. This job was a tough one for me due to being an international client, and not being able to get to the UK (i. E. I was managing the project remotely). But throughout the whole process, Donmac were accommodating of the time difference and always kept me in the loop with the work they were doing and the next steps. They regularly sent me videos and photos of the work they completed, and all of it was top quality work. I'd definitely recommend working with them over anyone else.

Donmac Solutions have just finished work at my daughter's house in Newcastle. The job involved changing an area of garden to allow parking space for her car and the installation of a dropped kerb to facilitate this. In another part of the garden other work was done to change the appearance of the area. The contract was product managed by Ricky who kept me informed at all times during the progress of the the job and he and all the people carrying out the job were professional, polite and considerate to her personal situation. Modifications to the original plan were seamlessly incorporated and the standard of work done was superb and I would have no hesitation of recommending Donmac, Ricky and his team.

Russ Congleton We inherited a terraced house in Kidsgrove and wished to sell the house. However, once a buyer was found the house unfortunately failed the lending survey on a large Garden Retaining Wall. The wall was approximately ten feet high and twenty feet long consisting of concrete blocks. In order to eventually sell the House we were advised that the wall would need to be totally rebuilt. I then placed the job out for tender and had initially contacted 2 companies who would not even contemplate taking the work on for various reasons. There is very poor access through an alley way no wider at its start than a normal door. The wall was also within four feet of the back of the house and there was a severe risk that if not demolished properly it could have caused significant damage to the back of the property. The wall had also been assessed as a risk to Human Life and was thus extremely dangerous for anyone working on it. To cap all of these problems, at the top of the garden above the wall is a telegraph pole which carries the electrical supplies to several adjacent houses. Eventually via the Checker Trade App I contacted a further 2 companies, one of which, once again declined the work. However, Don Mac Solutions Group Ltd under the Managing Director Ricky Montana were not perturbed by the difficulty of the work and fully appreciated what was required in order to achieve the aim of selling the House. Ricky was perfectly clear and honest about what was required and also the danger and difficulty of the project. I was advised that a surveyor would be engaged and that the work would be completed to the specification. Furthermore, that Building Control would be required to sign-off the work to guarantee the success of future lending surveys for Mortgage Companies. Some preparatory planning and costing work were done and then a quote for the work was produced. Even though during the work unforeseen problems were encountered, such as the depth and strength of the original wall footing, the company did not ask for any extra funding in order to complete the job and stuck entirely to the contracted price. Problems with the Local Authority regarding access for skips was also dealt with by the Don Mac Solutions Group Ltd. In short, the whole project was done for us, including liaisons with Surveyors, Building Control and the Local Authority. The company also did some extra work on a further smaller wall at a very good price. I was kept fully informed of the progress of the project and received regular photographs of the build as it progressed. The site was left tidy and clean. Once the Building Control certificate was received, a few days after completion, we placed the House back on the Market. The House was sold in less than a day at the full asking price 27/04/21. We had the services of DonMac Solutions with the removal of our boundary fence and replacing it with a boundary wall. Every step of the way, the team were clear, consise and attentive to our requirements. They ensured that all work was carried out to a high standard. Ricky was really approachable providing information and updates about the work at all points. The brickwork was completed promptly. There were issues and delays with the rendering stage but this was out of DonMac’s control as it was due to the bad weather conditions. Once it was possible, the rendering was completed and ironmongery was carried out shortly after. We are very happy with the results and we would definitely use their services again.

Donmac has just done a curb drop for me Ricky is very informative and knowledgable, there work was excellent and finish was great they were a lot cheaper than the local council to do the work saved about 25%.
