Today was the first time I had used Al and I found his work to be absolutely brilliant. I had a problem with my dishwasher so I messaged Al who got back to me that afternoon. He asked me what the problem was and could I send him a picture of the machine make and model number or just text him the number. He again got back to me very quickly and told me that the part was ordered and all being well it would be with him in a couple of days then he would phone to arrange a visit. He arrived today and was very friendly, polite and smart. He did the job very quickly and very professionally. The price was the same as the one he quoted me and the machine is now up and running again, I can not fault Al at all. So if you're considering Al to do any work for you do not hesitate.

Alan has recently, competently and professionally, worked on two jobs ( repair oven and installed washing machine). I am most grateful to him for choosing to enter my home under Covid-19 circumstances (under social distance rules). Highly recommended.

Minor electrical repairs are just the start of Alan's repertoire - he's a dab hand at fixing what seems unfixable however small and inaccessible the screws! Our ceramic hob was not working but 'Domestic Al' came out promptly and efficiently, diagnosed the problem and researched possible solutions afterwards. Unfortunately the hob could not be fixed due to the ancient nature of the parts, but there was no call out charge and the service was first class throughout. I very much recommend his service.

Needed a professional to remove a glued in fridge door seal and replace it - the You Tube Video made it look so easy - but it wasn't, hence our call to Allan. He had to huff and puff but 90 minutes later the awkward job was done and thanks to his fixed rate charge it didn't cost the earth.

I contacted Alan to look at my washing machine. He quickly got back to me and let me know how much the repair would be. Also gave me lots of advice and helped me choose a new machine as mine was too expensive to repair. All at no cost to myself. Very grateful for some honest advice. Would certainly recommend.

Our washing short circuited over the weekend and we decided to look online for someone who could maybe repair it, rather than get a new one given the appliances relatively young age. I found Alan's details and read the reviews so dropped him an email. He responded, on a Sunday evening, within the hour. If that wasn't enough of a statement of good service he proceeded to outline what I could do myself to remedy the problem. I followed his instructions and it fixed the issue. And for all this advice - no charge whatsoever. I am amazed that service like this still exists and I have already recommended him to numerous friends - and hopefully you too!

We have now had Al do several jobs for us. Each job has been done to a very professional standard. He has always arrived at the time he said he would and has been most helpful. Al is reliable and trustworthy and we feel confident that we have found somebody who is knowledgeable and can be called on in an emergency, which is not always the case.

I emailed Al late at night as my daughter had problems with her washing machine and I was very pleased he emailed me straight back even though it was very late. And with Al's advice we were able to sort the washing out as it was a minor problem. But we would not of done it without Al's help and we would not hesitate to call him for help in the future.

Came across domestic-al when i needed an engineer for my glass washer,came out sameday, spent an hour wiring the machine, problem sorted and bill was pleasantly cheap considering todays rates! Happily call out again! .

I called Alan when my dishwasher door was broken. He visited me free of charge one evening. The dishwasher would cost too much to repair so he sourced a new one for me, collected it, installed it and took the old one away all for £40 less than the RRP of the new dishwasher.
