We contracted with DK Building to perform some damp roofing work and to repair the damage caused by the previous damp. Both the tenant and ourselves are pleased with the standard of the work. It was completed on time and on budget. Communication throughout the process was clear and straightforward.

DK Building refurbished a derelict and vanadalised house we purchased as an investment. The job was carried out exactly to the quoted prices and standards. As we live about 140 miles from the property we were very impressed that Daniel took on the project management and if needed engaged sub contractors at fair prices. We felt that at all times we could trust the contractor and were delighted with the finished result. We were kept fully informed of progress and problems through the internet based communication platform called "Basecamp". This gave us the opportunity to discuss options and see what was happening as Daniel kept uploading pictures to Basecamp. The quotation that was provided was fully itemised and if an item was not required e. G. Re-wiring this was removed at the costs adjusted accordingly. Daniel refurbished my house with a new damp proof course, new kitchen, and complete re-plastering among other jobs. His communication was usually very good which was important as I was out of the country. His costs were reasonable and the refurbs were completed on time. Overall a good job.

DK Building recently installed a new bathroom in our newly purchased house. The job entailed ripping out a badly installed bathroom and starting again from scratch. We had no clear idea of a layout for this fairly small room, but Daniel made some excellent suggestions and after further discussion we settled on a well planned bathroom. Peter arrived to carry out the work and always arrived each day on time, working diligently and cheerfully, always making sure the bathroom was left in a clean state before he left; he often stayed later than we expected if he had not reached the target he had set himself for the day. The bathroom was finished to a very high standard and we are very pleased and impressed with the service provided by DK Building. We would have no hesitation whatsoever in recommending this company.

We were looking for builders to get a lot of work done in our house. Some of them promised to get a quote and never came back. Few people gave us a quote with a shocking sum of money. Plumber we called to fit in our shower stated it is impossible to make a toilet downstairs instead of empty space under the stairs. Daniel came out to see us next day after a phone call, measured the space under the stairs and after two weeks our new downstairs toilet was ready to use! We all are very happy with results! We've got new radiators fitted in just in time for the chilly winter time. Replastered ceiling and walls look beautiful. Great service and quality of work. Thank you very much for advices. Daniel recently completed a kitchen refurb, which included knocking down a partitioning wall, complete re-plaster and re-wiring of lighting and electrics. The kitchen has been fitted and completed to an exceptional standard and the guys have been fantastic on the job.
