I booked this individual (Dave) to install a carpet and some vinyl in a flat. He was only available for Friday at 4. 00pm. Unfortunately that morning I had an emergency work problem and so had to reschedule. He said he could do Monday at around 4. 00 pm again. That morning - 10. 35 am, out of courtesy, I messaged him to say that there was a possibility that I had the same problem again and would let him know by noon whether I needed to reschedule again. And I also clarified with him that should a reschedule be necessary his going back to work on 4 January would be ok with me. At noon I texted him and told him I could in fact confirm the appointment we had for that day and when I confirmed it for 4 pm he replied with "Yeah". At around 4. 40 I called him to check all was ok but he did not pick up his phone. I then texted and asked if all as ok and got the response "Yeah running late". I texted back saying that was ok and I gave him further info on the address - it was at around 5pm, so an hour after appointment should have occurred. At just after 6pm, I realised that Dave was not going to turn up - and frankly even if he had then and there it would have been over two hours late and not really appropriate to start a job in a flat in an evening. The reader can make their own minds on the contrast between my communication with him and his insistence on saying he was coming etc - twice on the day with the "yeah" and the "yeah running late" and his not turning up. Dave has recently fitted laminate flooring right through my house downstairs - he done a fantastic job he is excellent I was very impressed. I have since had him back to do kitchen and bathroom lino and he is doing my stairs and landing carpet shortly. He is very time efficient and tidy and end result is fantastic. Am delighted with my new floors : - ).

5 stars all round. Price was the best, service was excellent in that he arrived on time and did not waste any time, quality is 5 stars because the finish on the job was to a very high standard.

Dave floored my living room with laminate, carpeted my bedroom and laid vinyl in my bathroom. He was polite, punctual and did an excellent job at a reasonable price. I will definitely use him again in the future.

David came at short notice to pull up a tiled bathroom floor and fit carpet tiles. He arrived promptly and worked quickly and efficiently, tidying as he worked. David was polite and friendly and we would recommend him. We hope to use him for future work.

Found david's number on the internet so had no prior idea of his work but he was fantastic. Very professional. The carpet was expertly fitted and at a very reasonable price. Would use again.

David fitted stair and landing carpet for us (two flights). The house is very old and has lots of nooks and crannies but he did an excellent job and we cannot praise him enough. It made us realise that carpets we had had fitted in the past by others were not up to his standard. We would not hesitate in recommending him to others he is reliable, conscientious, helpful and a nice person to deal with. We will definitely be using him in the future.
