I have used this company for around three years now from today this is my fourth project working with DISCOUNT PLANS LTD. The best prices I have seen so far not to mention what you get for your money. We received a free measured survey, free professional consultation, free amendments to drawings and an amazing introduction to high quality builder. This company has the lot with Architectural Technicians to Structural Engineers all at a quick turnaround timeframe producing our drawings. Great service which saved us approximately £1000+. Nigel was really knowledgeable as came up with some interesting ideas which was within the planning guidelines. Its surprising that after talking to so many architectural company's (6) that no company could give a straight forward answer in price and what was needed. We found that we were getting familiar with the stages we knew what we needed and time and time again the other company's where escalating on all on different types of drawings needed including engineering design. Me and my brother have used Discount Plans Architectural Design Services for the past two years now and can say that we would not go any were else. John and his highly experienced team have successfully achieved approval on five major projects from a mix bunch of works from Extensions to Loft Conversions. The quality of work is outstanding, even the building inspectors where complimenting on the high standard of detail given on the drawings to work off. I can highly recommend Discount Plans LTD for the average homeowner that does not need getting ripped off by other Architects. John quoted us £900 for a full building regulation package including structural calculations. We were getting quoted £3000 which was the same price as building the dormer shell! DO NOT GO FOR BUILDERS WHICH OFFER DESIGN AND BUILD! We were able to get quotes from various builders from John's drawings which was perfect as we were not held to ransom by other builders which did not have a clue about planning law or what we could achieve with the best internal layout to suit our living requirements. We actually went with john's recommendation of builders and in 4 weeks we had a completed dormer to stick our two boys up there. Lee M.

Discount Plans LTD has helped me out with designing our loft conversion and extension. They have a highly trained staff to help you with all design aspects. Do not use the builders which offer a design and build service use the professionals first and then get the builders in. We used building company which had the services of design and build, but we were forced to use them to carry out the build. We were recommended by our neighbour who used the services of DPL and john helped us get all the necessary design works in place. We were then open to use our own builders which were cheaper than the ones that offered the complete service. We are really happy we used an independent design service to take care of our needs we were in full control from the beginning.
