My intention behind creating @designandalignart_ was to hopefully create a space for others not only to learn some tips and techniques on painting but also the calamity that art can bring to be able to use creative materials to express yourself in the colours you use or the shapes you create.

Art has been a special gift that i’ve been blessed to immerse myself in when life has been chaotic, It’s been my calm in the storm which is why I truly believe anyone struggling with anxiety, greif, health, feelings of loneliness or simply someone who would just like a new hobby, could really benefit from this - Mindful art class-

I believe in life it’s important to hold onto those things that leave you feeling fulfilled no matter how big or small it’s is, it’s could be your daily prayer, a walk or your non negotiable cup of tea in the morning, for me my art is just one of those things and I hope my Art classes can be that thing you look forward to all week.

Though things can be challenging we can also honour the beauty in the struggle through the art we create.
