What a fabulous cake Michelle made for my husband's birthday. Shaped like a beer glass, the cake was the softest lemon sponge with a fabulous lemon filling. The cake got eaten on the day and all the guests raved about the texture and taste. Michelle was very responsive to my initial enquiry, gave suggestions for the design and had the cake ready for collection on the date and time agreed. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Michelle.

Can't recommend Michelle enough. She made our wedding cake and did an incredible job. Communication was brilliant throughout and with so many things to plan knowing that we had a reliable supplier who was taking care of every aspect of the cake including delivery on the morning of the wedding gave us one less thing to worry about. We ordered a chocolate cake for a 60-year old ladies birthday we wanted something sophisticated and with ganache rather than buttercream Michelle delivered a beautiful birthday cake to die for not only was it visually fabulous but the texture and taste was mind-blowing we enjoyed it so much that I am about to order another one for January thank you Michelle a creation well done.

Michelle created this fantastic design for my wife’s 60 birthday. It was a real “showstopper” with everyone that saw it and was a real centrepiece for our celebrations. The service and delivery of the request was second to none and exactly as specified. And finally it tasted great too.

Getting a cake with the Derby cake maker was the best decision I have ever made. Other than marrying my fella! I had been let down by a cake maker near me, whom I'd asked to make a lemon sponge tall one tier navy cake with details. I contacted the Derby cake maker with 6 weeks to go until my wedding. She was understanding quick to respond and did everything I wanted and needed with no fuss. The cake she made was beautiful and incredibly pretty. It was exactly what we wanted she asked she right questions which is what I needed as stressed so close to the wedding. We spoke over watsapp and the phone to check the order. Additional details were added and suggestions made. She even delivered it to the wedding venue (the westmill) and set it up with no problems. She made the whole process easy! Thank you. Michelle made and designed this fantastic cake for my husband’s 40th. Last minute, I decided that we needed a cake and she very kindly offered to squeeze this into her busy schedule. I was worried with the request being a little random, wanting most his favourite things on a simple looking and tasting cake but as you can see, Michelle has brought it to life. I love the design, detail, colours and it really made the day even more special. Not only does it look great, my husband and I (as well as the family lucky enough to have tried it) think it’s delicious and we look forward to the next event which enables us to order another cake from Michelle. Michelle made my daughters 1st birthday cake, it looked stunning and it tasted as good as it looked. My baby was born a couple of days before the first lockdown so we really wanted to make her birthday special as she has missed out on so much and this cake really did that.
