MU - Musicians' UnionThe Debbie Boyd Band is a hugely versatile 4-10 piece live function band based in the East of England. Band members have played together for over 12 years at Corporate Dinner Dances, Weddings, Charity Balls, Christmas Parties, Military events, Private Parties, Jewish Celebrations and Scottish Ceilidhs.
Lead vocalist, Debbie, has an outstanding voice and delivers a performance that holds the attention of everyone in the room, packs the dancefloor, is interactive and personalised to each event. The band also features incredible world class musicians who have appeared with celebrities such as Pixie Lott, Kylie Minogue, The Foundations, Avril Lavine, Will Young, Shane Ritchie, The Drifters, The Average White Band, Limahl (Kajagoogoo), Gwen Dickey (Rose Royce), Tom O’Connor and Bonnie Langford, to name but a few.
The Debbie Boyd Band have been repeatedly booked by many delighted clients including Harrods, Ferrari Owners Club, Radisson SAS, Jaguar, Range Rover, Lloyds TSB, Sir Bobby Robson, Bank of Scotland, BT, Price Bailey Accountants, SLP Engineering, Powergen, Amec and many more. Optional extras include: in-house manned DJ service, horn section, jazz and swing sets, live dinner music, Christmas jazz set, Scottish Ceilidh and traditional music for Jewish celebrations.
Their ever increasing playlist includes popular floor fillers from Stevie Wonder to Bruno Mars, and with a back catalogue of favourites spanning 6 decades, they're able to cater for a wide range of ages and musical preferences. What's more, unlike many bands, they're very happy for you to pick your favourites from their playlist for them to include on the night! The Debbie Boyd Band were absolutely superb - they were prompt, personable and really made the night. Excellent singer vocals and sound - she really went above and beyond our expectations to create a great party atmosphere, singing whilst dancing with guests, utterly superb. At one point I looked from the dance floor and realised that everyone was dancing! I would highly recommend them to others - by far the best band we have seen at a wedding and we are very thankful it was ours! Can't praise them enough.

Debbie Boyd Band played for us at our wedding and I couldn't have been happier. They sound amazing, Debbie's voice is beautiful and the way she interacted with all of our guests meant that everyone, young, old and in between had a fantastic night. They also played our first dance live and were extremely adaptable when we had a couple of timing hiccups that sometimes happen at weddings. Debbie responded to all of our queries prior to the wedding very quickly and adhered to our playlist fantastically both during sets and using the dj setup in between. I can't wait until the next big family occasion when we can book them again!

We had the band for our wedding and they even fulfilled my one only request of the day, and that was to play with the band. Following a great wedding performance, my wife also booked them a number of times for her works Christmas parties. They are fantastic, accommodating, entertaining, versatile and of the highest quality. As a semi-professional musician, and experienced in the service industry, I can safely say that they are one of best bands out there. Book them - you absolutely won't regret it.
