Dean (AKA Steve) has just finished removing my old flooring and replacing with LVT tiles. Steve worked hard, was polite and easy to get on with, and did a great job, with extensive floor preparations before laying the tiles themselves. I'd certainly use him again, and you won't be disappointed if you choose to do so.

We recently called Dean Flooring Ltd in to lay our kitchen floor. On initial meeting the owner of the business who is in fact called Steve (not Dean) seemed very pleasant and trustworthy. It was a little strange that he wanted the complete cost of the flooring upfront and 50% of the labour, but we trusted him so agreed. When the flooring was being laid, unfortunately I was away on business in China so was unable to check his work. In good faith I paid him in full as he assured me it had been finished. This could not of been further from the truth! On my return I was very disappointed, from a distance it looks good as you can see in the photos, but on closer inspection, he had wasted expensive flooring due to poor cutting, left areas unfinished, laid an uneven floor compound, not applied enough adhesive, the list goes on. I have been unable to get any of our money back, we paid in excess of £1200 so I just want to make everyone else aware that, this tradesman cannot and should not be trusted or employed to carry out any work. Very prompt replies to initial enquiries, realistic and reasonable quote, good time keeping with updates on arrival time. Professional faultless job with attention to detail by a genuinely nice chap. Completed on time and worked late to ensure the job was finished within the two days. At completion the floor area was swept through and left clean and tidy. Steve did an amazing job flooring our entire 3 storey house with Amtico luxury vinyl planks. My teenage daughter actually discovered the My Builder site when we were having problems finding a fitter for our particular dates. We placed an ad on there for our requirements and Steve contacted us immediately. His quotation for the materials was very much lower than quotes we received from two large retailers and he was able to fit us in at very short notice so we decided to go ahead. Steve and team worked really long hours to get the job finished on time, despite being unavoidably one man down. He kept us updated throughout with his progress (as we weren’t living at the house at the time) and answered all our queries and messages promptly and thoroughly. He also sorted us out some extra planks free of charge to use as spares. Steve is very friendly, polite and helpful. Had bathroom and downstairs loo floor done in Amtico tiles. We had been let down by another fitter and when we tried to find someone at short notice Stephen said he would fit us in - despite being during the very busy period running up to Christmas. He was true to his word and came and did a quality job in both rooms - on a Sunday! I'm not sure he wants it known that he works Sundays as he deserves a day off like the rest of us but we were extremely grateful that he could fit us in and did such a good job.

Cannot recommend highly enough- stephen was able to source and lay beautiful karndean for me within a few days - he fitted me in his busy schedule so floor was done before we moved in- above and beyond I felt. Incredibly helpful guiding me through process and super efficient on the day. Massive thank you!

Found Dean Flooring via the Internet. They are a local company and Stephen made contact with me immediately and was able to offer the product I wanted and also fit it at a time convenient to me. I choose a product called Knight tile and had my lounge, study and dining room done in the flooring. I am very pleased. The result is beautiful and it has made a tremendous difference to the appearance of our home. Stephen is professional, dependable and also very nice. I would recommend Dean FLooring and also KNight tile.

Steve did a fantastic job laying Amtico flooring throughout the ground floor of our house in Bath. He was punctual every day, polite and always kept us informed of what his plans were. We had Steve to lay an Amtico Spacia floor in our kitchen. I know that Amtico is a specialist job and Steve's name came up on a retailer website. He came over to estimate and gave us a very reasonable price. On the day he took great care in his work, fixed a previous duff screed and left us a fantastic looking floor! I would happily ask him to do more work if the occasion arises.

We are very happy with the floor we had laid in our lounge/diner. Steve is a friendly workman and everything was carried out to a high standard. We would happily recommend him to others and will definitely be contacting him again for further work.

Steve arrived when he said he would and fitted rubber floor tiles in my kitchen. He charged me a flat fee even though it probably took him longer then he thought it would. Very happy with the job he did.

Great Service From Start To Finish. Not As Cheap As Other Quotes But You Get What You Pay For, Turned Up On Time (Early) The Price Quoted Was the Price I Paid, Flooring Looks Great, Cleaned Up As They Went Along. I would Reccomend To Anyone and I Would Use Again.

Dean flooring (Steve) helped me design a disabled wetroom that did not look like it belonged in a old people's home. We exchanged many emails over material selection, nothing was too much trouble. The installation was first class.

I needed to have a suspended floor put in at short notice. Dean Flooring, surveyed, priced and completed the job within days. The work was of very good quality and reasonably priced. I will certainly use them again for future work.

I have just had a new Karndean Art Select kitchen floor in Spring Oak laid by Steve Roberts of Dean Flooring Limited. The end result is superb, even better than I had expected.
