We had endured ever increasing levels of noise from neighbours above us during the past few years, so we decided to try dB Soundproofing having read the excellent reviews of their work. We decided to go for the highest level of soundproofing with a independent ceiling and accepted a very reasonable quote from Tina. We had one week to get the ceiling fitted and plastered and leaving enough time for us to redecorate the room after the fitting. The job was carried out in two days with the minimum of disruption, a further day for plastering and we were able to complete the paintwork on the Sunday. I can't stress enough just what a difference this has made for us to be able to sit in peace and quiet. If you are seriously thinking of having soundproofing carried out you won't be disappointed using this company.

Realising and accepting that I needed to invest in soundproofing was not easy process. I got conflicting information about each system, wildly different quotes from every company and no assurance that any of it would actually work. I'm glad I trusted my gut and went with dB Soundproofing. There was no upselling - the system they suggested was complete and appropriate. On top of that, they were an absolute pleasure to deal with from start to finish. This has been the easiest renovation experience I've ever had. Jonathan and Bob managed to complete a 10. 2sqm ceiling in a single day. I've never seen two guys work so diligently - they arrived on time, were super polite, kept each other's energy up and got on with the job. They left my home clean and tidy, which was a pleasant surprise. As for the system, I think it's important to manage one's expectations, as I've no doubt there are numerous factors that can impact performance. DbSoundproofing estimated a 60% reduction given the system + the build of my home, and I think that's a fair figure. While I can still hear my neighbours, impact and airborne noise are noticeably muffled, and a lot less intrusive. It's not like we're all in the same room, which was how it felt before. We cannot recommend this company enough. Great lads did a great job. We had 3 ceilings soundproofed. We were on the verge of insanity from noise from the flat above Happy all round now. .

I've had two walls and the ceiling of my living room soundproofed. They were incredible the whole way through. The works took a week (including plastering) in total. When there were issues with the boiler, they fixed it as soon as I told them. Fantastic team!

I received a competitive quote and decided to book DB Soundproofing to install a soundproof wall as I thought they were a professional company and the installer's were very competent as well. They came, explained what's going to happen and got on with the work and advised on the progress as it was happening. They covered all the furniture and the floors and cleaned up after they finished. We have had dB soundproofing complete work on the ceilings in two rooms in our flat and we couldn’t be happier with the work and results. Tina was extremely supportive and played a key role in helping us prepare for the work, get documentation sorted and was always on hand to answer any questions. They completed the work efficiently and even when issues arose they quickly came up with solutions and eased any concerns we had. We are very happy with the outcome of the soundproofing, with the noise disruption we were experiencing now barely audible. An excellent team from start to finish. Always on hand to answer my questions. The guys were super efficient and clean with their work. A good improvement to our noise issue. We used their recommended plasterer Mick whose work was exceptionally neat and he was really friendly.

I couldn't have better feedback on the chaps who came over to do the sound proofing under the floor boards and in the wall. They were exemplary: friendly, very willing to explain things, tidy (cleaned up thoroughly on both days) and in all ways they were a pleasure to deal with.

We just had soundproofing installed in the whole of our flat. We just want to say firstly this family run business is one of the best companies we have ever used. Cannot fault them in anyway. Wonderful, kind people ( they even bought my cat Fluffy a toy! ) and their work is excellent. They do what they say the'yre going to do, keep you updated with everything … would definitely use them again and would recommend them to anybody. Super professional, super friendly - couldn't recommend them more!

We had the entire party wall of our house soundproofed because our house is a 1960s semi with very thin walls. Although our neighbours are lovely we didn't want to hear them everyday in our house. We chose the independent wall system with dB Soundboards and the result has been fantastic. The guys worked really hard and finished in the time agreed. Highly recommend, it has been a massive improvement.
