We were stuck with our SLK roof down and a screen full of faults, abs, esp, run flat inoperative and more. Danny came out same day and gave a full Mercedes diagnostic along with old school voltage checks gave a 99% probability that a speed sensor was the culprit. Managed to get a part next day despite main dealer being closed and returned within 24 hours to fit. Great knowledge, service, rates would always be first call in future. Many thanks Danny.

Now I might be called biased here being that Danny at DBautos is family, but he has helped me out with all of my cars through the years. From general servicing and repairs to retrofits of factory accessories such as interior ambient lighting and reversing camera to my Audi. The attention to detail is of very high standard, you wouldn’t be able to tell that the reversing camera was an addition and wasn’t their from factory even down to the wiring loom. Would highly recommend and have done to friends.

I got in touch with Danny as my airbag light was on and it was coming up to MOT time. I took my car to a local garage for a diagnostic test but they said they couldn't find a fault. Danny came and tested it and found a fault with the airbag wiring and then proceeded to figure out where the problem was and fix it. Now the light is finally off (after a long time of my dad trying to sort it himself! ) and my car is ready for it's MOT. Danny managed to fit me in immediately after I rang him and is a really nice guy who is very knowledgeable about cars. His prices are very reasonable, I didn't feel I was getting ripped off which as a female I often worry about with mechanics! I called Danny as I was in a bit of a dilemma as green flag had let me down, He was local, didn't know him or his reputation but thought I would take my chance. I needed to know if my car was safe to drive and green flag couldn't tell me that. Danny came over and did a thorough inspection of my car, he did diagnostic test {green flag didn't}and was articulate in his explanation of what he found. He was most pleasant and polite and very reasonably priced and nothing was too much trouble. I would most certainly recommend him.

Carried out diagnostic and checked fault, came back 4 days later with parts and completed work. Could not fault his professionalism and knowledge. He explained and showed us everything he was doing. Very competitive prices and will definitely recommend and use again.

I'm a female (with a pink car) who knows very little about cars, so I'm really afraid of being ripped off by mechanics. I am very impressed with DB Autos! I had my MOT failed on a broken coil spring and I hadn't used DB Autos before. Dan kept in touch, turned up on time and gave me a very good price on the coil spring replacement ( I got a few quotes and Dan's was the best). That's good enough, but Dan also gave me very good, impartial advice on how to look after my vehicle to make it run for longer and really showed and explained to me what's what with my car. My MOT retest passed after Dan fixed it and I couldn't recommend DB Autos highly enough. Will use DB Autos in future 100%.

I have just had my VW Golf serviced and brake pads/discs changed on 14/07/14 after being introduced by a friend. Danny is excellent and very knowledgeable at what he does. He is maticulous with attention to detail and I will not use anyone else now. Morning all. Can I firstly say what a great website this is, without this I would not of found Danny. It's very hard now days to find a mechanic that's trustworthy and reliable, However I found Danny! To those who are dithering with the idea of using mobile mechanics, let me put your mind at rest. Danny not only is he a generally a nice guy his passion for cars are second to none. He serviced my Mercedes CLK200 yesterday and from start to finish I was 101% impressed with this guy. He goes above and beyond what I think a service is, but his reply is "No, that's a proper service" I would never or hardly recommend anyone just incase they mess a friend around, Already this morning I have handed out Danny's number to 5 people at work, this is how much I rate the guy. If you want no hassle, great prices and I mean great prices and a mechanic who knows what he's on about look no further than here. Danny you are a star, I'll be calling you soon for the Mrs car to be serviced and any work that I need carrying out.
