This has to be the worst dating company ever ever existed. The event venue is very Shi**y, disorganised and everything was shambolic. Pay attention to the negative reviews. They’ve probably paid or offered incentives to those who wrote good reviews about them. Me and my mates walked out within 20 minutes of the event 22 Hanway. The organisers were unhelpful and chatted shi* all the time. I mean how comes this company is running? If you want to be scammed and date in a trash by 2 conmen who run this company then this is the event for you. I’d rather tear a£10 in my eyes than attending this shi**y event. Everything was shi**y. The organisers used strong language and were very inappropriate.Moreexpand_more
It was a very nice experience. I was quite anxious about this as I never tried speed dating before, but I was not the online doing it for the first time! It was so much fun and everyone was very friendly! Our host welcomed us upon arrival and talk us through what to do and how we move around. The place was so cool as well! Highly recommend it! .
I have attended several virtual events. The host, Rob, is well-versed in using Zoom to smoothly move people around the breakout rooms. (This has not been the case with other sites, where the host could not recall who had already been paired and had to ask us, and also sometimes put 3 people in a room! ). There are advantages over face to face speed dating: you dont have to travel there and back, and you dont have to try and hear and be heard in a noisy environment. I hope this service catches on, as at the moment many singles are not aware of it. .
Great way to meet new people during lockdown! Organisers really friendly and made the transitions between dates really smooth. Would definitely recommend!
I’ve put five stars for service because I would say the host was great. I’ve attended events like this with another couple of companies but the host here was the most friendly and excellent at putting everyone at ease and talking to everyone. It was also really well organised and I liked the quantity of people - so you can really get to meet a variety. A few of the guys left midway - not sure if they weren’t into the girls! Also I was quite disappointed I didn’t get anyone saying yes back, but never mind! I’ve given quality three stars because the venue (Maxwell’s) was stuffy and small and what I would say is I didn’t like sitting at the bar as my seat because I didn’t have my personal space - a few of the guys really did invade my space by coming up much much too close to me when talking during the speed dates. I’m sure this would depend on the venue so other events from their company seem like they’d be immune to this issue. Value gets 3 stars because the ticket is quite pricey and for me personally this time, although the quantity of people was excellent, the venue let’s the score down a bit. L I didn’t like having to sit at the bar rather than on a proper seat. Overall I would recommend an event from this company because they organise them well and they are great hosts!Moreexpand_more
Very relaxed atmosphere, happy vibe, and lots of different and interesting characters to interact with during the event :).
I have attended two speed dating events, at Malmaison and Piccadilly Institute. Both were thoroughly enjoyable and I met lots of great people. I would recommend to anyone thinking of going.
I have been to three of their events by now and I have to say I always had a good time. The hosts, Rob and Tom, are incredibly friendly and chatty and the venues are always top-notch. I may not have found a match yet but I definitely made some friends.
Easy to book and value for money. Equal numbers of men and women so no having to sit it out because there are more women than men. Well organised and attractive venues. Four minutes per date which is more generous than most and message leaving service.
At DateInADash you get very good hosts who run the events well and they are always at great venues across London for varied age groups. I would recommend you attend an evening as it is a good experience to meet fellow singletons in the same boat as you, and you may meet someone who you get it together with.
I have now attended 2 dateinaDash events, it's a great way of meeting new people. Both events were well organised and Rob is a great host encouraging everyone to relax and make the most of the evening. I would definitely recommend giving this a try !
