Hi I’m Darren, I have been capturing beautiful weddings in Yorkshire and Lancashire for over 10 years. I'm based in Halifax and love shooting weddings around Leeds, Skipton, Harrogate and anywhere in Yorkshire, Lancashire and the North of England. I'm a proud father, musician, Sci-Fi buff, real ale loving tech geek and part owner of a plant based health food emporium in my home town Sowerby Bridge.

I love shooting weddings that focus on family and friends getting together for a big celebration. I'm not stuck on tradition and love couples who do their own thing. Natural Documentary Wedding Photography.
Most of the day you will enjoy your wedding free from interruptions and staged moments. This means minimal posing and interference from your photographer. This allows me to tell the story of your day capturing authentic memories of genuine joy, love and laughter. Moments to surprise and delight. Such as, the reaction of the father of the bride or the bridesmaids as they see the bride in her wedding dress for the first time or the anticipation and tears of the groom waiting as his bride walks down the aisle. To the elation and joy when you are greeted by your guests in a snowstorm of confetti. And lets not forget the drunken dancing of friends at the end of the night. These are the some of the defining images of your wedding day all captured perfectly.

Relaxed Epic Couples Portraits.
It's the day of the wedding, you look amazing but are you a little camera shy? Don't want be taken away from the party for hours to pose for photographs? But you still want awesome couples shots? No worries! We can escape the wedding madness for 15 minutes allowing you as a newly married couple to spend a little time together whilst we create some epic portraits. No pressure, nothing posed, just the both of you together in beautiful surrounds doing your thing and looking stunning.
