Well planned and executed ski trip to Borovets, Bulgaria for myself, son and 12 year old grandson organized by Durrell James with Balkan Holidays for Half Term hiloday 2020. Flight and transfer worked well, accomodation at Rila hotel excellent, ski package with ski and boot hire and ski lessons all good and well organised. Everything was well organised and worked and we had a wonderful holiday!

At all times Darrell was very professional and provided an excellent service which was supported by great advice, honest suggestions, real assistance and timely feed back. Nothing was too much trouble. Dealing with a small independent local business such as Darrell's is a real pleasure and I will be definitely using his services again to book my holiday's in the future.

Darrell James Travel was recommended to us by family, and they really did not disappoint. We booked to go Egypt, 3 nights in Cairo and 5 nights in Hurghada. It was an absolutely amazing holiday. Darrell James arranged a two centre holiday for my Wife and myself to go to Cuba. The price was better than Virgin Holidays and we had private transfers which was very appreciated for the two hour transfer between resorts. We met Reps at both Resorts that assisted with everything and had a thoroughly enjoyable time. I would definitely recommend Darrell James.

All the hotel staff and holiday reps were accomodating and we had no complaints apart from it not being long enough! I went with Darrell James Travel on a cruise along the Nile. I was travelling on my own and was quite nervous but the excellent travel guide went with us as a group to the airport, was on the cruise ship with us and went out on all the trips as well. This made all the difference to my experience and I loved every bit. As a solo traveler I expected quite a large supplement and a single cabin but the charge was quite small and I had a double cabin the same as everyone else. I have recommended this company to my friends as they will always try to find the holiday that you want, not the one they want you to have and they take time with you right up until you get your tickets.

Darrell James Travel were exceptional in every aspect with our honeymoon to Florida. From before we had decided where to go we were sent lots of different destinations with different options and packages. We then decided on Orlando, Florida and Darrell couldn't help us enough. As we were first time travellers to the states we didn't have a clue so he helped us pick a very nice hotel just outside of Disney which is exactly where we wanted to stay. All the flights, transfers, car hire, park tickets and airport lounges were all sorted for us. We even got a text message the day of our departure with an emergency number on for if we had any problems while we were away. Would recommend this company to anyone booking a holiday. We stayed in Lake Buena Vista Resort Village and Spa, this has got to be one of the closest hotels to the Disney parks without actually staying on Disney. It literally took us 4 minutes to drive around the corner and we where on Disney ground. The suite we had was huge for two of us and we received excellent customer service all the way through our stay. We also visiting the spa twice during our two weeks there which was very relaxing. We were looking to go to the South of France for a mini break, so called Sharon at Darrell James Travel to see what the best deal we could get on the hotels we wished to stay in. This was dealt with quickly and efficiently by Sharon, who got back to me very quickly with prices. The break was sorted and booked within a few hours. Great service from them, will be using them for future bookings.

The staff at Darrell James Travel put together an amazing and bespoke trip to our exact specifications to the US, with one of the two hotels we stayed in being incredible considering the amount we paid. In fact the value for money of the entire travel, hotels, car hire etc. Was a complete (pleasant) surprise.
