Dagtail Ground Services

A great service from the Dagtail team on clearing a large garden area which had become very overgrown. Cleared the site and revisiting with spray to maintain the space.

We have been using Dagtail Ground Services for a couple of years and have been really impressed with the works carried out in maintaining and improving our gardens.

Carl an d Mike have been cutting our very tall hedge for a number of years now and they are excellent - never leave any mess - they also 'put the garden to bed' every winter and it looks brilliant - they are very professional and I would recommend them without hesitation.

Dagtail Gardening Services were asked to cut our hedge. It's a tall privet which was cut efficiently this morning. Carl has done a great job, cleaning up well and our hedge looks tidy again. Many thanks - this is a company which we would recommend.

Carl and team removed two large raised beds and a rockery from the rear of our garden which was heavy work resulting in two skips worth of waste. We were delighted with the outcome and the work was undertaken in a very professional, timely and friendly manner. I would have no hesitation in using Dagtail on our next project. Dagtail are good at communicating, prompt, always polite and very good at what they have done for our garden. During the 'growing season' they do all mowing and general maintenance. Recently they have successfully replaced fence panels and removed garden rubbish. Very pleased with them indeed.

Carl and team have completed two jobs me us and both were great. We had an area built up with sleepers and topped with slabs for shed, then a larger standing area with slabs where the new greenhouse will stand with enough room for table and chairs. All was clean and tidy when finished no materials left behind even removed some of my old stuff. Thanks Alan and Bren.

Having had the front drive altered I needed someone to remove the bits of lawn left, return the ground to borders, cover with membrane, plant out some shrubs and then cover with slate round the shrubs. It was recommended that I try Dagtail Ground Services. One phone call later and a prompt visit from Carl to say what he could do followed quickly by a quote and the job was agreed. After a full days work the garden was transformed and I'm sure will look great for years to come. Can certainly recommend and I will definitely be using their services again.

We recently used Dagtail to trim back some conifer hedges we'd let get out of control. A quote was provided promptly. The work was arranged for a convenient time and was carried out very professionally with minimal disruption. All trimmings were disposed of. I would certainly use them again.

Absolutely fantastic job. Carl was very pleasant and worked really hard all day to make my garden clear and tidy. All the rubbish was removed (including any that fell into my neighbour's garden). We cannot thank Carl and the guys enough for the transformation of our garden. What seemed like a mammoth task to us was taken on and completed in just two days. With temperatures hitting 29 degrees they didn't falter? All the tress were cut back to a manageable height and with all debris removed it simply means we can sit back and enjoy. The pride in their workmanship was clear to see and we cannot recommend them more highly.

I cant praise Carl at Dagtail Ground Services enough. Trimmed all our hedges as neat and clean as you will ever see, and takes away the cuttings. Excellent service and value for money. You will not be disappointed.

Complete large garden clearance, fence repair, tree cutting, hedge trimming and lawn mowing. I called Carl at Dagtail from the recommendations on FreeIndex, as I needed the garden sorted in a hurry. Although he was fully booked for weeks, he parcelled off sections of this job and made time after his usual working day to get the job underway. Two late evenings and a full days work, he got the job sorted. For Carl, his honesty, reliability and his willingness to get the job done once its agreed upon is second to none. I couldn't recommend Dagtail highly enough and I'll continue to use them for regular garden maintenance from now on.

I am really impressed with the all round service of Carl and Dagtail Ground Services. They quoted me promptly for hedge trimming, agreed a date and time arrived promptly (which is important when you need to go out to work) and did an excellent job. I would have no hesitation in recommending them to anyone. It is also refreshing for someone trust you to pay for the work via their bank account rather than wanting cash at the time! I will certainly use them again.

Two hedges needed cutting, one a hornbeam and the other a tall conifer. Both were done exactly as I had advised. The service was very good, all clippings cleared up. I will definitely use Dagtail again.

Recently used for a domestic lawn cut and hedge trim. Very quick quotation visit and then job carried out the following day. Work was finished quickly and all waste was taken away. Price was also good, so will definitely use again.

Dagtail have been sorting out our house general garden maintenance for several years now. We have always been delighted with the results. The trees are high and access difficult and the garden can get quite messy yet it always looks great afterwards and all the cuttings removed and a great value for money service. I wouldn't hesitate in recommending Dagtail for pruning, weeding, trimming, general maintenance and sometimes special jobs.
