D & J Duggan Plumbing

Very positive. We had some old taps that stopped working and one of our radiators was still heating when turned off. When Donal had a look he took the time to talk us through options, what the work could entail, made some sensible suggestions etc… He gave us a fair quote. When he did the work, he again took the time to do things properly and made sure that everything was working as expected (which took some time as we waited for the radiator to cool down and then heat up again). It was most appreciated. He even gave me some good tips on maintenance. We've used him before and we were just as happy then. Good people who do a good job deserve a shout-out so this is it! .

Donal was amazing from start to finish. He called back while we were still leaving a message for him and booked to come at 8am the next day. And arrived at 8am! He is a bit of a detective. He had already given us some diagnostics to do over the phone. And further analysed things on arrival. He came up with an innovative solution and we are very happy with his work.

Donal is not only a brilliant plumber but a really nice person too. He goes the extra mile and takes pride in his work. If you need a plumber, use Donal. His rated are reasonable too. He installed a loo with a sink on top in small room- very difficult job -. Put thermostats on my radiators and protective casing around external pipes. Plus installed a new kitchen tap. 10 out of 10.

After a series of setbacks with other plumbers regarding repairs to my bathroom, I discovered Donal Duggan. The job was to fix a dual flush syphon toilet (which three other plumbers had been unable to fix) and re-erect a custom built shower enclosure over a bath (which had been previously dismantled by window installers). Donal is everything you'd want in a great plumber. Knowledgable, hard-working, honest, friendly and very reasonable with costs. He always turned up on time. Nothing was too much trouble. He's just all-round excellent at his job. Would not hesitate to ask him back to do other plumbing jobs and delighted to recommend him to others.

Donnal did a great job of installing my washing machine where there had previously been no plumbing for one. Would absolutely recommend him!

Dónal Duggan is my go to local Plumber. Number One in a field of one. He has done several plumbing jobs for me including a new toilet and shower. He's a very good plumber and he's an honest and decent man. I really can't recommend him enough. There are some cowboys out there in the world of plumbing and Donal is the complete opposite of this.

Donal has just replaced a kitchen tap and a bathroom tap as well and fixing our downstairs toilet. His work is exemplary, he arrived on time, gave great advice and charges very reasonable rates. I’m so glad I have found him, no more looking for a plumber!

A well thought out service. We had a leak in our downstairs cloakroom. Donal asked for photos and we spoke so he could make a diagnosis and bring the right materials. This saved a lot of time. **** I highly recommend Donal - he is an amazing and very professional plumber. He fixed a number of problems including: found and fixed a leak, installed a new Magnaclean and pipework for our boiler, installed a new bath overflow system, moved a vanity sink as it was uneven when installed and also so that shower door could close (this was fixing other workmen's jobs). Although we found more jobs as he went along, he continued to address them all with enthusiasm and had a very positive ' can do' attitude. I'm delighted to have found such a reliable, knowledgeable, local plumber.

Contacted Donal after he was recommended as a plumber who could fix our toilet. And he did fix it, plus he also fixed another less urgent fault, and he did both on same day I contacted him. And to top off the great service and great result, he is a nice guy too!
