Darren sorted our wiring problem very efficiently. He visited my property very quickly after contacting him, and fully sorted the problem out. I would very much recommend him.

Total rewiring of a 2 bed, plus loft 100 year old terraced cottage. From the initial meeting and discussion when I was advised and also listened to following through to the end result I have only positive things to say! Nothing was too much trouble for him, he went the extra mile, a true gentleman.

We contacted Darren for a replacement of a RCD unit, installation of bathroom lighting and replacement and addition of several electrical sockets. We found him to be very reliable, friendly and he took time to explain the work he was doing as well as answering any other queries we had about the further work we have planned for our house. We would have no hesitation in using him again or recommending him.

Darren did some electrical work at our house incl a spectacular chandelier which you'll see in the photo. He also did a few other lights along with switches and moving sockets. The work he did in my workshop was great because he had to bring the power in for sockets but also hung a couple of strip lights so I can go down in the dark now. Darren is open to ideas and will get around almost anything- the manner in which he worked was very professional and was in no rush to leave. He explained everything he had to do and advised on any safety features. I hope this review finds you Darren- we will be wanting you back to do some work very soon.

I had some exterior lights fitted by Darren and am very pleased with the result. He fitted them in horrible weather and made sure they were working to my satisfaction before he left. He was cheery throughout and explained what he had done. Great value for money and top customer service. I would definitely use him again. Highly recommended.

We had our 3 bedroom house re- wired in june 2015 it was a full re- wire we had extra sockets added and changed every light fitting. When I changed things at the last minute Darren just adapted to the changes his customer care is excellent. He gave advice and helped with anything we were unsure of. All the wiring went up the cavities in the wall. Darren worked with care not damaging any of the wallpaper. He cleaned up everyday before leaving. Darren worked to a high standard and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him and the fantastic job he did at our house.

I called Darren to rewire the kitchen at very short notice and he came promptly to see the job, fitting it in around existing commitments. I asked his advice on other areas of the house and he made very helpful suggestions. He worked quickly, quietly, was extremely tidy and always left the site clean and with all tools stowed away. He worked well with other contractors and is a pleasure to have around. I also had an emergency recently and he came along by arrangement and sorted everything out and left it perfectly tidy and clean. He is extremely professional and intelligent, and I recommend him very highly to anyone.

Replaced fuse board and provided extra circuits to new cookers and hob. Wired for new wall lights in lounge and bedroom. Installed new lights fittings. In 6 rooms and replaced switches in 3 rooms. Replaced L. E. D lights for existing in 3 rooms. Replaced pull switches in bathroom and rewired for wall fittings. Fitted strip lights in loft and rewired for single switch. Etc, etc. Punctual in attendance, innovative and careful/clean work throughout.

Asked to do an insurance electrical check, Darren was both punctilious and efficient. Because of my particular circumstances, he even sacrificed part of his weekend to finish compliance work. His good humour in conjunction with his attention to detail made him a pleasure to employ.

Darren added some extra sockets, new TV points and wired in two speaker sockets in our lounge and new kids room. Plus he replaced a faulty outside light. Very good workmanship and very tidy. Will recommend to friends.

Renew and update circuit box and wiring to kitchen/dining area plus new sockets and light fittings. Thorough job - guy very confident, pleasant, reassuring, knowledgeable. Recommend highly. Electricians are expensive but need to have some-one who you can be sure of.

Darren of DG Electrical completed significant electrical work in my home as part of ongoing building works. Mr Gilkes recently worked on our extention adding new lights and sockets connecting to our existing fuse box. He was prompt and efficient, his work was very tidy and professional. He provided us with the appropriate certificates and paperwork for the council building inspectors and the building and all his work has since been passed. We found him to be friendly, reliable, trustworthy and respectful within our home. On one occasion when we were out for the whole day he even fed our cats! Lovely chap! Highly recommended.
