Although Custom Wills had handled my will a couple of years earlier and encouraged me to have a lasting power of attorney I didn't think I needed one. However having friends who had experienced issues when loved ones died in terms of being able to access money to simply pay bills I realised that the advice that I had been given was indeed valid and so I have now had my LPA prepared and submitted by Nicola at Custom Wills. When my mum was diagnosed with Dementia, we were definitely in denial.
