Absolutely fantastic, made the call at 9. 50am on a Saturday morning, locksmith was here in 20 mins and solved the problem in minutes, great service would highly recommend.

From phone call to patio door lock dismantled and repaired took 40 minutes. Could not be bettered.

What an incredible service. We were cold, tired and ready for a cup of tea only to find the lock in the front door was stuck and we couldn't get in. After half an hour of trying we gave up and called Simon who was with us within ten minutes on a Sunday afternoon. We received a warm and friendly greeting and before we knew it we were back in the house with great advice about how to avoid the same issue happening again. We would fully recommend his outstanding service.

Excellent service from Simon at very short notice to fix an inside door - the locking mechanism had broken trapping someone in the bedroom ! What a relief to have someone reliable in an emergency. .

An outside door with an unpredictable lock finally jammed and we contacted Simon on a friend's recommendation. He arranged to visit at a time which was convenient to us, and replaced the lock in quick order. He was courteous and friendly, and even provided advice on safety and crime prevention. We would certainly use him again, and would highly recommend him.

Simon came out in the evening when the key had got stuck in the composite door lock and wouldn’t turn. Prior to call comms were excellent. Came out at the time he said, explained what he thought it was on the phone and the potential costs, explained the problem to my husband whilst he worked on the door and above all was very pleasant. Cannot praise Simon highly enough. He offered to attend same day at my elderly parents but I felt it could wait overnight. He phoned ahead to introduce himself and arrived on schedule. Work was quick and couldn't fault him on price. Highly recommended.

Not one for using social media or writing reviews my gratitude for the service I received from Curly Locks has forced me to break this trend. It was six o'clock in the evening and I had an important appointment to keep, I had got my things together and was about to leave the house when…. WHAT… The front door would not open! I tried everything I could think off but the handle refused to budge. In desperation I phoned 118 118 for a locksmith and they gave me the number for Curly Locks. I phoned them and spoke to Simon who talked me through a few scenarios and their cost implications and needing a speedy resolution to my predicament, I chose the option of an immediate call out with an estimated cost of £225. Simon arrived quickly and had the front door open in a wave of a hand. He took the locking mechanism off and found the fault, a piece of metal had sheared off where I had been forcing the door a little because it was out off line and this had jammed the handle so it would not function. I was given the choice of keeping the old mechanism in place, which was now functioning ok, or going for a new replacement mechanism. I chose to trust my luck and keep the old one which could last for many more years. In the flash of an allen key the door was readjusted to hang right and all was functioning fine. For this service Simon charged me £75. The reason I am writing this review is because, in this day and age of overt materialism where the philosophy of profit seems to be held higher than ethical behaviour, I was delighted to find a person like Simon who held the values of honesty and decency higher than ripping people off for a quick buck. If all businesses were run on such ethical behaviour what a better world we would have.
