Gentle/radical approached Crowblack Films to help us develop a series of video works for our 2021 Turner Prize nomination/exhibition. It was an absolute joy working with them - easeful, supportive, they made everything possible, and were so flexible and adaptable given the breakneck speed at which we had to get the work across the line…Working with Matt and Simon took so much of the pressure away from us, in what was a challenging moment/project. Their technical skills and expertise are impressive, and you can rely on them to accompany you right through from initial ideas/concepts to post-production. Beautifully creative thinkers and film makers, they are skilful, utterly dependable and we cannot recommend their services enough. .
We have worked with Crowblack over a number of diverse projects now. The team always grasp the concept of what we are after and deliver beautiful films on budget and to time and which really capture the essence of the projects being featured. They are proactive in setting up interviews and put those being interviewed at ease. They are also very flexible and willing to work around things when there are any necessary restrictions on account of safeguarding issues. We’ve worked with Crowblack for some time and I’m sure we will be again in the near future. Highly recommend them!
Working with Crowblack Films was an overwhelmingly positive experience, they managed to deliver a high-quality and collaborative project on an extremely compressed schedule for a key delivery date. From pre-production all the way up to delivery of the final cut, the team was engaged in the vision for the project and the story we were trying to tell together. The FLEXIS in 2022 film was great success and well received by our project stakeholders and I look forward to working with Simon and Matt in the future! .
