My grandson has had lessons from Colin, after approx 18 months he took his first exam and got a distinction. This was down not only to Colin's patience and skill as a teacher, but to getting to know his pupils abilities; guiding them in him right way for them as an individual etc. And bringing out the best in someone …. Money and time very well spent in my view. My husband now has lessons with Colin and he is 67 -you are NEVER to old to learn!

Can't recommend CRC enough. I had been lazily learning guitar for the last 7 years, but since going to CRC my playing has improved dramatically! Colin's blends theory and candy perfectly to allow me to not only play tunes but to understand how songs are developed. I have had 3 previous teachers but Colin is the first one to actually explain the theory behind the music. To summarise, Colin is a brilliant tutor and player and is someone who cares about his pupils. Highly recommended!

Some Tutor's have the ability to just play, but cannot teach. Colin (CRC Guitar Academy)is an extremely talented musician and a great tutor. I first met Colin in May as a beginner and he has a natural ability to put you at ease. He will structure your lessons around your individual taste in music and at any level. His lessons are enjoyable and fun while remaining professional and when you hit that brick wall. Colin is very understanding, patient, supportive and helpful. He will guide you through it. His state of the art professional studio has plenty of room unlike some I have been in. It is relaxing, has no distractions and the sound is just amazing. You don't want to leave. I have read some articles where people have gone from one tutor to another. Colin is not just a professional tutor and talented musician he is a genuinely nice guy who is patient helpful and supportive.
