If you want a professional job - Craig and Robert are 100% skilled tradesmen. Roofing and rough casting work carried out on my 85yr old mums house. Craig explained the whole process from start to finish, arrived on time every day, the most tidy workmen ever and overall a fantastic job. They even went above and beyond to ensure my housebound mum was comfortable with everything and overall the best workmen we have had. Fabulous job, can’t praise Craig and Robert highly enough.

I had a leak in my roof, which I discovered late one evening after a terrific downpour the day before. After asking others in Kilsyth using a facebook page the next morning I contacted Craig, among others. He was the first to respond and was able to come the same day. He and his apprentice, wore masks, were very careful, polite and friendly! They were very thorough - checking inside and out, measuring distances. Unusually, there was nothing that he could guarantee to be the cause of the leak, but he was able to identify two possible issues, gave me a quote and was happy to return when I was at work to do the repair, as he didn't need access inside. To my delight he returned quickly, before it next rained to fix the roof. One obvious long-term problem had then been totally cleared up, and the leak also appeared fixed. However, another heavy downpour found that it wasn't yet. Craig returned and was even more thorough! After using a ladder to get higher on the roof he was luckily in a position at just the right angle to spot a fractured tile, which wasn't visible from any other angle. He fixed it immediately and fixed another tile at the same time which they had spotted. As a vet, researcher and homeowner, I would highly recommend Craig as a roofer that can be trusted and will do a job carefully and efficiently for a very reasonable cost.Moreexpand_more

I had water coming in through the facia on the inside of my bedroom window. Craig had a look and knew how best to attack the problem. He removed broken tiles and renewed the felt underneath which has fixed the water problem. Great guy, great job, very professional. Highly recommended and would use his service again. I hired Craig to remove brickwork in the living room and do some plastering. He turned up dead on time. Within 45 minutes he had removed the brickwork with minimal noise and put on the first coat of plaster. He filled in all the small areas needed done. Once the plaster dried it only took less than 30 minutes to finish the job, clearing up along the way. He charged less than he quoted even though the holes were more than initially seen. I would definitely recommend him and would not hesitate to use him again.

Contacted Craig for a small roughcast and gutter repair to my house. Despite not being fully local Craig was enthusiastic and motivated from the outset. He came to assess the job very within a day and spoke me through everything he was doing to explain what was needed. He also gave some choices to me that were possible so I was totally happy and we were on same wave length about what was being done. Once job agreed the team came within a day again and completed it within 2 days. My husband and I were at work but this wasn't an issue. There wasn't a speck of mess left either day when we got home. The job was completed to a very high standard and it is seamless. You can't tell the difference at all between repaired areas and original. Highly impressed. Very pleased with repair to roughcast. Very neat job - pleasing to the eye. Doesn't look like a patch! Men were pleasant to deal with, explained how they would tackle the job, came when they said they would come and left no mess. I would have no hesitation using their services again.

We have used Craig Lang on a many occasions. Most recently to have a look at our roof as we had water coming in one of our bedrooms and living room. Craig sourced the problem and completed the roof repair the next day. We also use Craig yearly to clean the guttering. I find Craig very efficient, his costing reasonable and fair. I would definitely recommend Craig.

Craig arrived with in hours of a roof ridge tile blowing off accessed what was needed and replaced tile first light next morning. Cost was minimal. Would recommend. Thanks.

Great Service from Craig. He came out at the weekend in very heavy rain then came back the next day to fix the problem. He came when he said not like some other companies and didn't over charge. Would definitely recommend Craig.

Came over to check my roof, as I had water coming into one of my bedrooms. Spotted the problem quickly and came back first thing the next morning to repair it. Did a tidy job. Fixed 2 other wee small issues when he was up there. Hopefully I'll finally have a watertight house now. Found Craig to be efficient, friendly and appears to be above board. I'll certainly use him again if I have any other issues.

Due to harsh winds and rain I lost a ridge tile and had the tile next to it become slack and cause a leak into my attic which was going down to my bedroom. Contacted Craig Lang and the guys couldn't be more professional and quick to attend to the job.

We Had a slipped tile on our roof, my husband phoned Craig Lang and he was very quick to come give us a quote and fix it. Price was very reasonable, much appreciated. Will use his service again if needed.

After buying our house in the West End over 4 years ago with an A+ Home Report on the roof condition it started leaking badly after 3 months of moving in. I spent £3,000 with a local firm (not Craig) to do major repairs and it leaked the following week and despite them coming back out again it still leaked in places and they refused to come out again so I had to patch repair myself from the inside. Roof started leaking badly again in a few places and by now Craig had been recommended to me so I gave him a call. He came out the next day and despite there being no obvious problems (such as slipped slates etc) he kept looking and quickly found the problems and did repair works. It's never in these places leaked since. Recently after very bad weather I had another bad leak on the other side of the roof so I called Craig. Despite him being busy he came out on a Saturday morning and found five slates which required repair works. It's been bone dry ever since. Craig responded quickly to the initial query and got a quote to me fast to re-roughcast a large area at the rear of my house that was badly damaged. After the initial quote it took some time for him to get round to doing the job, but he was really good at keeping in touch with phonecalls and texts. I was concerned that due to the age of the existing roughcast that there would be a noticeable difference with the new repaired area but was really impressed with the work - once the job was started it was done quickly and efficiently with no mess and the roughcasting looks great with hardly any difference between old and new. Craig had a set of keys to gain access when I was away. I found him trustworthy and full of good advice. Nice guy who clearly knows what he is doing. Recommended.

Overall impression, Con man! Came out promptly for a quote. Verbally agreed gutter replaced to deep flow and fascia for £270 came home to find he replaced the gutter but not to a deep flow one and did not replace the fascia. He blamed me for miss hearing him! (which I didn't) he returned to take back his gutter and replace my old one (worse than what it was) I've since had a written quote elsewhere for fascia and gutter replacement for £240. Avoid him!
