CoverTrade Insurance Services is an independent commercial insurance broker based near Romsey in Hampshire. We arrange business insurance for tradespeople, contractors, property owners and small businesses.

We are a trading name of CoverTrade Risk Management Ltd, which is authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority under firm reference number 1020148.

Insurance for trades and contractors.

Most of our clients work on site, so this is the bulk of what we do. We arrange public liability and employers liability for sole traders and limited companies, contractors all risks for work in progress, and cover for tools, plant and hired in equipment.

We look after roofers, scaffolders, electricians, plumbers, groundworkers, carpenters and general builders, including the trades that online comparison sites often will not quote for, such as work at height and hot works.

Commercial property and landlord insurance.

We arrange buildings and contents cover for commercial premises, blocks of flats and residential rental property, including property owners liability and loss of rent.

Unoccupied property is handled separately, because a standard landlord policy usually restricts cover once a property has stood empty beyond a set period.

Shops, takeaways, salons and offices.

Commercial combined and package policies for retail shops, takeaways and restaurants, hair and beauty salons, offices and cleaning contractors.

These usually bring stock, contents, business interruption, money and liability together under one policy, which is normally cheaper and simpler than buying each element separately.

Professional indemnity, cyber and motor fleet.

Professional indemnity for consultants and contractors who work to a design or specification, cyber insurance covering data breach and business interruption following a cyber incident, and motor fleet for businesses running two or more vehicles.
