Our Engineer attended a week long Cat 1 F Gas course at Heateasy, which he passed. However after 10 weeks of phone calls and emails his certificate never arrived. The certification centre never received confirmation from Heateasy that the course had been completed. The course cost over £800 and this has now been refunded however our engineer is now going to have to attend another week long course at another centre. We have never been given an explanation as to why this happened.
I booked this course after reading reviews and I wasn't sure if they could all be true, but I can honestly say the reviews are spot on. I went on the course 25/03/2013 I walked in on Monday morning a little apprehensive not knowing what to expect. I knew nothing about refrigeration or air con, but by Friday I was a changed person it all slotted into place and Kevin was excellent. Kevin is a great teacher and teaches the course well and at a pace to suit everyone and if your not sure he will go over it again and again until every one understands it. His passion for the industry and teaching people shows and you want to do your best not only for yourself but for Kevin too as he puts just as much effort into the course as you do. There is some homework to be done so don't expect and easy week but if you listen and put into practice what you are taught you shouldn't have a problem passing the course. Thanks Kevin I hope to be in the air con business very soon. Clare Robson.
Ok Monday like learning Chinese. However the instuctor kevin was a realy good communicator and very helpful with people like me who has never even been in the trade. Today 5 days later Im a confident certified F Gas Operative. Yes I have to gain experience however Im confident with last week behind me Im good to go. Cheers Cooleasy. Paul. M.
I have just finished the Cat 1 split systems course, and can honestly say it far exceeded my expectations. I am a spark and had little knowledge of refrigeration, but having completed the course now feel I have the knowledge/confidence to go out and get some work in the industry. I have also learned about a wider range of applications for this technology, and am very excited about exploring new opportunities. Our tutor Kev was a great bloke with an easy teaching style and a vast knowledge on all things F gas. I also thought the blend of theory and practical were just right, which worked really well for me. I would definitely have no problem recommending this course to anyone interested in pursuing work in the field, and will be returning to take other courses in the near future. Being an electrician by trade, I had no previous experience of any air conditioning or refrigeration installs. I was somewhat sceptical coming into the course as it was something I needed to do and not wanted to do. From the first day I was made to feel at ease with Kevin's larger than life personality. With class numbers kept to a minimum, I felt that we were given a very personal one to one tuition that ensured that we understood whatever topic discussed. All practical classes again were very one on one, with additional help offered out of hours for any student needing assistance, although none of us needed to, it was a great gesture that made the difference. If however your thinking of just turning up and gaining a qualification, this might not be the place for you, this course requires commitment and by the end, a detailed understanding of refrigeration systems. With that in mind, cooleasy do this in a professional way that has ensured that our company has been able to install its first air conditioning unit a week later. Kevin Jones. Celsius Air conditioning and Electrical.
The F Gas course at the cooleasy training centre was run at a pace that suited everyone, the tutor Kevin was happy to explain the more technical pionts 2 or 3 times to make sure everyone understood. The workshops wre well equiped and we all got loads of practice on the refrideration units, health and safety was always paramount. Some evening studying was required but we all passed both the practical and theory exams. I am now looking forward to installing, comissioning and servicing air con and heat pumps, Cheers Kevin.
Having looked around for a suitable course and not finding one within a reasonable distance I came across the cooleasy course. I spoke to Kevin on the phone and exchanged a couple of emails and decided to travel down to Wales so booked the five day course and a B&B recommended by them. The course, while a little challenging was helped by Kevin's knowledgeable and helpful manner. He(Kevin) really is one of the most pleasant and helpful trainers I have ever met and I've met more than a few over the years. The training facility is well equipped, tools top quality (excetp the adjustables ;-)) Kit and rigs well laid out. The rolls at lunch time take some beating too. All in all it was worth the money, the drive and week away. Thanks again. Tony Stone. Wisbech. Cambridgeshire.
I have enrolled on the Fgas 1 and 2 course that Cooleasy conduct. I am not from the industry but Kev is an excellent instructor and the rest of the staff that we met were friendly and informative. The facilities were excellent and the course speed was spot on for all of us. I would readily recommend this company for both training and the range of services they provide. Many thanks.
Went on cooleasy FGAS training course and found the instructor and the course content easy to understand and put across in a freindly manner , the facilaties at the training center were very good and practical instruction very good . Over all a good course with the right.
