Contented Cats

The worst thing about leaving Berkhamsted was leaving behind such a brilliant cat sitter ! Carol was great with our two fluffy boys - who were always groomed to perfection on our return from any trips. She and her team looked after them so well and there was no limit to her flexibility when we needed emergency care. Can’t recommend highly enough if you want excellent care, peace of mind, lots of photos and updates and, most importantly, contented cats. Liz, Paul ‘Mishka and Marley.

We've been asking Carol to look after our two cats for about five years. There's no way that we'd ever want to change the arrangement! We have the peace of mind through knowing that they get a daily visit, fed and cuddled while we're away. Carol and her team took extra special care of one of our cats who had only just started going out after eye surgery when we went away - we were so grateful for the updates and reassurance we received. Contented cats offer a very special service.

Carol is fantastic! She has looked after our cat Jack many times now and he is always incredibly well looked after. Contented Cats allows him to stay at home and enjoy all his home comforts whilst we are away. Regular photos and what’s app updates mean we get to see what he is up to! He is fed, cuddled and played with and nothing is too much trouble ? I would highly recommend to anyone who has a cat! ? .

Contented Cats are the perfect people to entrust your beloved pets to. We have had several holidays and the level and standard of care was amazing, and far beyond the call of duty. We knew that they were truly safe, happy and in good hands.

I have two cats, but Contented Cats was less than the price of one cat at the local cattery. In fact the number of cats would not have affected the price - fantastic value! The care my two loved ones received was anything but economy though, both having a half hour playtime in their own home - there was none of the previous sulking when returning from a cage in the cattery. My first experience of Contented Cats, but definitely not my last. Highly recommended!

Contented cats was our best find this year. We had previously used a Cattery for 3 days and our cats did not talk to us for a week so when we went abroard I'm so glad we found contented cats. Our minds were completely reassured that kitty and copper would be well cared for and they loved being spoilt themselves for two weeks, and it saved us £100!

It takes a great leap of faith to invite someone into your home while you are away to look after your cats. I am pleased to say that Carol does a wonderful job. Both our cats require medication which she administers as well as spend time with them. The bonus is that she is also keeping an eye on the house twice a day.

We use Contented Cats regularly and it gives us complete peace of mind to know that our cat is so well looked after and happy. He always looks very pleased with himself when we get home. Nothing is ever too much trouble for the Contended Cats team and we would recommend using them over a cattery any day of the week.

Contented Cats personnel go out of their way to ensure that felines get the best possible care and also provide humans with reassuring information and feedback. I am so grateful they were able to extend my cat's period of care when Iceland's volcano eruption delayed my return from holiday by a week.
