Consensus HR and Business understands the importance of how effective Human Resources and business management can make a valuable difference financially, legally and operationally in the business environment. We understand that many companies do not have the luxury of employing a full time HR or business management professional but at some point all business owners will come across ‘employee and business problems’. We work with small and medium sized businesses across a wide range of specialities.
My experience has been within the public and private sectors, ranging from small family owned businesses to large international organisations. I have covered all aspects of the employment life-cycle from recruitment and selection, disciplinaries and grievances, performance management, training and development to being able to help problem solve and assist management in difficult times and actually running businesses at the forefront with overall responsiblity for the bottom line from sales, ordering, merchandising and customer service.
I am commercially, operationally and HR aware having managed and worked in a wide range of fast footfall/turnover businesses within Head Offices and with large teams of management and employees for UK and international companies. My career commenced at the coal face of industry but later moved into implementing HR and Development for a wide range of businesses having known what it was like to work at the forefront of business. ”.

Since Matthew at Consensus HR started working with us he has played an integral roll dealing with current HR issues we had which he was able to swiftly resolve by working with us and advising the correct and proper procedures to follow and at the same time giving us the confidence to do so. From then on has played and still continues to play a valuable roll within our business with everything from standardising our contracts, our employment and disciplinary procedures for which we are grateful for and most of all has released so much more of our time being able to get on with moving our business forward and taking away allot of the stress that can be involved with the tricky HR matters. Matthew / Consensus HR is always available or at the end of the phone for any questions or issues that may arise and all responses we feel have been fast, accurate and forthcoming and will always follow up to make sure all is is order from gathering correct paperwork for contracts / new employees and any other issues that may be ongoing. Matthew is very knowledgeable in the field of HR with an excellent understating of all the 'jargon' and legal side of it all and ultimately leaving us feeling that we are in safe hands on the HR side of our business.
