Close-Up Chris, Magician

I booked Chris for a triple family birthday celebration and I was not disappointed. The booking process was easy and Chris replied promptly to my emails. On the day Chris arrived in plenty of time to setup and clearly explained to me how things would work. And then the magic began and Chris performed his outstanding close up magic for 2 solid hours. He delivered a performance suitable for both adults and children. Chris was extremely entertaining, communicative, and friendly. And family and friends are still talking about the magic and wondering how on earth Chris did it. I would 100% recommend Chris for any celebratory events. It was our Daughter’s 40th Birthday Party on 21 February 2025. We organised a Magician called ‘Close-Up Chris’. We had never met him before. Chris wasn’t just a Magician, he had many skills. He was funny and made everyone laugh. He worked out the area he needed and how his entertainment for the evening was going to work. Chris was just so engaging for the adults and children alike – everyone was mesmerised by him. He was totally focussed on the audience with no breaks, just continual socialising with them, getting to know them and vice versa. Chris was a master of his craft and although the party was for adults, by default there were about 15 children there too – all amazed at what he was doing. No-one was left out and Chris even knew their names. The show was aimed to perfection, not just for adults or children, it was for all. Chris was fantastic for our winter bash! We booked the close-up corner option and it was worth every penny. Our guests loved crowding around and watching him perform multiple tricks and I'm still getting comments about the disbelief of someone's card being turned into a mini laptop! Chris peformed at a corporate event recently and was the highlight of the day for all who attended. He was professional, yet had everybody laughing with constant entertainment and jokes. It was exactly what we were looking for, and broke up all silences between strangers - he really brought the event together and made the environment more lively. Chris attended my Civil Partnership celebration, standing in at the last minute and didn't disappoint. He really got it going with his funny, engaging and mesmering range of tricks. Chris was amazing. First of all a great guy, lovely personality. The tricks were incredible! Everyone’s first comments after have been how good the magician was. I could just hear laughters and Applause coming from Chris’ direction the whole time he was there. Easy to book and loved having him at the wedding. Would highly recommend!

Chris was totally amazing at our wedding. We saw him at another wedding and thought he was so hilarious and it was such a fun addition to the day that we had to book him! Not only was he a great magician (our guests were trying to figure out how he did everything the next day, and failing), he's also such a comedian and great showman, such a great vibe to have around on the day. He also managed to capture some great videos on the day which was so nice and such a special touch! Incredible. He arrived so early and just sorted himself out, we didn't have to worry about his setup or anything at all, he just made it work!
