About Clearview Counselling & Psychotherapy
Clearview Counselling and Psychotherapy offers counselling and psychotherapy to clients throughout South Wales and the UK via telephone and online video. I work with individual adults over the age of 18.
I offer confidential general counselling and psychotherapy to individuals, which is intended to benefit your emotional health and well being. I use an integrative, person-centred approach, and am fully qualified, experienced, insured and registered with the BACP so you can be assured that you will receive a safe, professional service.
I have been involved in the mental health sector for many years and am qualified and experienced to work with most issues, having previously worked for the national mental health charities Mind and Samaritans. I also offer counselling through several Employee Assistance Programmes and am experienced in workplace counselling, regularly helping people cope with work related stress, burnout, changes in the workplace, redundancy, and workplace bullying. As a member of the LGBTQ+ community and a neurodivergent person, I also specialise in working within the LGBTQ+ community with Gender, Sex and Relationship Diverse clients, and with neurodivergent adults such as those who are autistic, ADHD, dyslexic etc.
I hold a professional Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling, have studied for a BSc in Psychology, and am a full Member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy. I am a member of the BACP's National Register of Counsellors and Psychotherapists which is approved by the government's Professional Standards Authority for Health and Social Care.
I offer Integrative counselling using a person-centred approach and including CBT techniques if necessary. Counselling can be useful for many different issues such as stress, depression, anxiety, abuse, trauma, relationship problems, self-esteem, grief, life-changes, identity, and LBGTQ+ issues. I also work with people who are neurodiverse and have a good knowledge of autism, ADHD, dyslexia, dyspraxia etc. Due to the on-going Covid-19 pandemic counselling is offered by telephone and via online video depending on people's preference.
