CK Plastering

CK plastering carried out three repairs to our hallway ceiling. They were professional, efficient, and friendly. They offered helpful advice and carried out the work for a reasonable price, particularly compared to other quotes received. I would definitely recommend them.

A excelent job, arrived on time worked from 8:30 till 6 experienced workers and took care of every detail thorough clean up after job finished Carol Adam's 6 argyle crescent.

This was my first engagement with CK plastering. Hired to re-do a complete flat in the old town, walls, ceilings and architraves. A last minute request with an urgent fixed deadline. The photos don't do the work justice, a first class job on time and to budget. I couldn't attend to project manage the work, so I asked Graeme to manage it. He didn't let me down, collected and returned keys, attending and leaving on time. Graeme kept me updated with phone calls and video to make sure the job was going to plan. Saved me hours of time and allowed me to get on with another project. Highly recommended. I'll be using CK Plastering again.

Had to get some work done short notice to my kitchen and Graeme came out within a few hours to give me a quote then came back next day to carry out the work. Gave a good price, arrived on time (or let me know if he was running a bit late) and carried out the job quickly and to a high standard. Will definitely use him again if needed.

I am such a perfectionist when I get stuff done around the house and to ask someone to plaster my dinning/kitchen ceiling I was very nervous. Not sure why, as Graeme made a first class job. He arrived on time and tidied up after himself, which is a bonus! The price was amazing and in fact I think he didn’t give himself justice as the hours he put in and the standard of the job was brilliant. I hired Graeme and his team to plaster a small bathroom where the walls were very uneven and in places had very deep holes. I also asked if he would plaster and make good a kitchen ceiling and wall. Both kitchen and bathroom were fitted making the spaces more difficult to work in. He did not complain, quoted a very reasonable price, turned up when he said he would and even made the effort to collect keys for the property - which I was not living in - the night before for my convenience. The work was completed on time and to a high standard. Having had two previous plasterers cancelling last minute I was utterly delighted to have Graeme do exactly what he said he would do. Will most definitely be using his services again and would not hesitate to recommend.

Needed an interior wall repaired after a clumsy accident resulted in an elbow going through it and leaving a tennis ball sized hole in it. At 9am I sent a text to the mobile number to enquire about availability and got a prompt reply (which is all to rare with some trademan! ). Within 30 minutes several texts had been exchanged and a same-day assessment for 2. 30pm. Turned up when they said they would and had the job completed within half an hour (half of which was waiting for plaster to set). Prompt, polite and professional. Would definitely recommend and/or use again.

I was really nervous about getting someone in to plaster my livingroom because I like lines to be straight, corners to be symmetrical and standards to be high and you hear so many stories about cowboys not doing the job right these days, so you can imagine my apprehension! I am a great review freak which is why I chose CK Plasterers. Ian came to give me a price on the Wednesday and the job was done the following Monday. I can now safely and honestly say they are indeed absolutely fantastic and I can highly recommend them. My livingroom has quite a few corners and windows, its just a pity this site doesn't allow more than one photo to show the before and after as this one doesn't do the entirety of the job justice. They arrived on time, did the job in an impressive time and tidied up after themselves. I called them back the next day about a corner which wasn't quite square and I knew it would annoy me, Ian came back, was absolutely lovely about it and fixed it up in no time. The price was absolute value for money in fact, I feel like I've underpaid them! I found CK Plastering to be efficient, professional and good value for money. They were also able to do the work very quickly - I made the initial phone call on Monday, Graeme came to give me a quote on Tuesday and the work was finished by Friday afternoon (re-plastering a small bedroom which had very bumpy, uneven walls). Graeme was very helpful and friendly, and the two guys who came to do the plastering seemed to have a professional attitude, arriving and finishing at exactly the times they said they would, and they carried out the work very well. I will definitely recommend to any friends looking to have plastering work done.

Graeme fixed our roof today. Pretty serious issue with sagging that was getting dangerous. He went out of his way to make time given the safety issue. The work was quick, high quality and the house was left spotless. I am definitely recommend.

Didn't have to wait long for Graeme to come out and fix a hole in my wall. Totally painless arranging a visit. The work was carried out to a great standard and quote was very reasonable and price didn't change despite it being a bigger job than my photo made it look like! Nice guy as well, can't recommend highly enough. Top marks from me!

Graeme has just completed a plaster job following the installation of a new wood burner. He is very personable, has significant experience and did a really nice job. Very pleased with the job completed by Graeme from CK Plastering, he popped out to our flat one night after work sussed out the job quickly and then arranged to revisit the following week. We have a really high ceiling and tiles we didn't want removed so he had to work round this. He finished the job in one day with very little mess, I would defiantly recomend /call again.

Cannot praise graham highly enough. Ceiling repaired without fuss and cleaned up. Perfectly afterwards.

Friendly and reliable CK Plastering just got the job done on schedule and at a very fair price despite a few obstacles along the way. As a veteran of several big renovation projects I am really glad that we found CK and will certainly use them again. The finish was excellent and the site left neat and tidy. Highly recommended.

As a highly rated plumbing company in edinburgh we needed to look for alternative plasterers. After alot of replys to our add we decided to go with Ck plastering as they had good reviews and speaking to graeme we found they worked to the same high standards us we do along with there cleanliness. We got these guys to carry out work on two property`s we were working on and have to say very professional and we are definatly going to be using these guys from now on would highly recommend these guys. Graeme and the guys are first class tradesmen they done a fantastic job for us and left the house spotless they are a great bunch of guys to talk to and have a bit of banter with, and into the bargain we found his rates very reasonable would recommend them highly and we will deffo use them again.
