We bought a Bang and Olufsen hi-fi system with Beosound Ouverture + Beolab speakers around 2000. One of the speakers started cutting out and finally stopped working completely, quite a few years ago. We attempted to get it fixed through a recommended B&O specialist but they were miles away and it never happened. We went down a couple of other avenues which turned into blind alleys. Then, Citrus Computers were recommended. It was a last resort! David at Citrus agreed to look at the 'dead' speaker - even though he hadn't worked on a Bang and Olufsen speaker before. He wasn't able to work out what the problem was but, undaunted, suggested that I take the functioning speaker along for comparison purposes. After much painstaking examination and research, he was able to narrow down the issue to the tiniest of components, which he replaced. The system works again! It's amazing. I believe that David has achieved a small, electronic miracle, Bang &Olufsen-wise. And to round off a happy ending, the cost was very reasonable, having regard to the time and effort involved. Citrus Computers are most thoroughly recommended.Moreexpand_more
I have a asus strix gl703. The fans were airline loud, paid citrus £80 to silence them to balance - quiet mode (i am not a gamer). I was given verbal confirmation that this will be possible, after only 8 weeks the fans were very loud again. For some bizzare reason I decided to use citrus again. I told citrus the fans were very loud again (their previous work was a sham) - did NOT offer a refund - i did not have the 'confidence' to request one. There was some mild water damage and also I dropped my laptop. It stopped working including the speakers. Citrus charged me a whopping £160 to fix it. When my laptop was returned to me it was partially fixed! The speakers, bluetooth and jack were not fixed! (or replaced). Citrus may respond to this review and say 'lack of communication on my part'! Citrus may be incapable of 'walking on water' but i was charged in total £240 for 2 VERY poor 'jobs', how can citrus claim to be a professional company? I suffer from mobility issues (i find it very difficult walking - even with crutches) also suffer from mental health issues (on meds for phycosis) double whammy i suppose. There is a remote possibilty i was taken advantage of. A TRULY ABYSMAL 'COMPANY'!.Moreexpand_more
I had 2 high spec laptops which where in need of repair. Both units failed to power up or recharge. The 2 laptops were booked into their system and paper work/receipts produced for the jobs. The first laptop ( Acer Aspire Timeline X 5820T ) was resolved on the first visit and within 5 minutes. The second laptop ( Lenovo Yoga) was in need of replacement internal parts which took 2 days to arrive and install. For the Lenovoa Yoga, I was very surprised to be told that actual cost was cheaper than quoted cost. It's very rare to receive the level of service and friendly advice that I received. Both laptops work as new and I would recommend this team to all for a quick, reliable, friendly and honest service.
We have use Citrus Interactive on and off for number of years, We know very little about the inner workings of a computer or the terminology. What we have found from our view is the service and quality is next to none in other words nothing is too much trouble. Final the cost is what we consider value for money. Would not hesitate to recommend Citrus Interactive Ltd.
Sadly you will always get one or two negative reviews however this one isn't. This is a very POSITIVE review. They have repaired a couple of my laptops - machines that I too was going to throw away; rescued my external hard disc with my whole life on it ! They even came on site to resolve some Broadband issues and even though the problem was due to poorly wired telephone sockets (done my yours truly - although I didn't tell them that! ) they resolved all my networking issues. And they didn't charge me the earth. I can't recommend them highly enough.
I thought my Laptop had come to the end of it's life and was ready to bin it. I decided to take it to Citrus to see what they could do, Boy was I pleased, it came back like new, running as fast as day 1. Really quick efficient service and friendly staff provided some really good tips to keep my laptop running like new. Thanks very much.
Payed £120 for them to fix my laptop which I bought for £300. They tried fixing it twice , didn't work so they said I could have a refund over the phone. I didn't ask for a name due to my trusting nature then when I called again they wouldn't offer a refund or go any further with fixing my laptop. Spent the last of my student grant on trying to fix it and ended up with it as I sent it in the 1st time. Wouldn't recommend them to be honest. Use your manufacturer as a repair service, even if it does cost a bit extra.
Having suffered for almost a week without a broadband connection, and been given misleading information from a call centre overseas, I contacted Citrus. Their response was brilliant and they even made a home visit out of normal buisness hours, just to make sure I got back 'on line'. David was superb and explained everything, as he effected the reconnection, and if I ever need repairs carrying out in the future I will be straight on to Citrus without hesitation.
Citrus offers an exceptional tailor-made computer support service for all aspects of computing at all levels. The staff are knowledgeable, helpful and friendly, and once they are involved in your computer problem they do not give up until it is fixed, whatever time it is and however long it has taken. The company can offer everything from consumables and minimal service, through to full web hosting/ISP services plus online remote access computer support. I cannot recommend Citrus's services highly enough.
