Chrysidis Pet Care – Calm, Crate-Free Dog Boarding and Day Care in Gateshead.

Chrysidis Pet Care is a solo-run, home-based dog boarding and day care service based in Bensham, Gateshead, specialising in calm, crate-free care for anxious, rescue, and routine-loving dogs.

With over 30 years of experience and a veterinary family background, I provide personalised one-on-one care from my peaceful home just minutes from Saltwell Park. Dogs stay in a real, lived-in environment - not kennels - where they can relax on sofas, stick to familiar routines, and receive medication if needed.

I only look after 1–2 dogs at a time to ensure every dog gets the time, space, and support they deserve. Services include dog boarding (£24/night), day care (£19/day), and dog walking after 4pm (£11/walk). I also offer trial days, real-time photo/video updates, and support for dogs with special needs or anxiety.
