I've known Christian as the owner and instructor at Brighton Kettlebells for several years, and I've also used his personal training coaching too. I continue to be very impressed with his depth of knowledge and concern for his students progress and wellness. I've personally lost 12 kilos and gained a lot of flexibility and functional strength as a result of his instruction. His breadth of knowledge means he can tailor instruction to your specific needs, and you will never get bored of doing the same old stuff. I'd recommend him to anyone considering personal training.
Christian is an EPIC PT. I have had a brain injury and Christian is helping me with my balance, my co ordination, strength, cardio and general all round fitness levels. My neuro physiotherapist and occupational therapist have both said that my balance has improved since I started training with him. Apart from being a fantastic trainer with excellent communication skills, the way he encourages me to be the best I can be is not something that every PT could do. Christian makes the sessions varied, fun and he has a fab sense of humour. It's a highlight of my week to train with Christian and I always look forward to our sessions. After training I'm completely knackered, but I leave with a huge smile on my face and a renewed sense of well being and positivity. Basically he's an all round super dude. Cheers Christian.
I absolutely love my sessions with Christian. He is an amazing PT, full of energy and encouragement. He’s extremely knowledgeable and I feel safe knowing he knows what he is talking about. Each session is completely different from the last, which means training never gets boring! As soon as I’ve finished one session, I’m already looking forward to the next. I would recommend him to anyone that wants to get fit, strong and have a great time doing it!
I loved training with Christian, each session was different and fun, we used a variety of equipment and skills which kept things interesting. The results that I got from my sessions were brilliant and I always left my sessions feeling amazing. Christian was friendly and always helpful with nutrition/training advice and answered any questions that I had. I would certainly recommend Christian to others.
It wasn't just Christian's bottomless enthusiasm for fitness or his wealth of knowledge around conditioning, strength and nutrition. For me it was how, every single time I turned up for a session, I'd have a new challenge. I'd be pushing, pulling, swinging, flipping, carrying, running, jumping, crawling, punching, smashing my way to a fitter, healthier and happier me. In addition, I received a personalised training plan, a nutrition plan and a coach with unbridled motivation to make me reach my goals, even when I doubted whether I could achieve them. If you're dedicated to making a change to your life for the better I can wholeheartedly recommend CVPT. From my personal experience I can honestly say I was quicker, stronger, fitter and healthier in my 40s then I was in my 20s, and that's some achievement.
Christian is a qualified trainer that gets to know his clients quickly and puts the best programme together to meet their needs. I have achieved more results than I expected in the past 3 months due to his professional expertise. I would recommend him as an excellent personal trainer.
I have used a number of trainers over the years and so I know how difficult it is to find a person of will provide exceptional service. Christian is one of these trainers. He has wealth of knowledge which he will use to transform you in body and spirit. All this will be done in an engaging and focused way. Unlike most trainers, he is able to tune into his clients and tailor the training to your current level of fitness, which takes great skill. Fitness and lifestyle changes should mature at a gradual pace but Christian will soon havie you looking and feeling better than you have for a long time.
I had personal training from CVPT for a couple of years but had to stop as I moved. Itis probably 3 years since I had a session but the motivation he instilled in me continues to this day. Before my training was a bit aimless and I never got results, particularly regarding weight loss but it's not just the training at the time but the ongoing benefits and learning that are key and I still use the knowledge and a number of routines and training programs that Christian wrote specifically for me back then. Very worthwhile and very competatively costed. Worth every penny. NM.
Been a client for many years now. Christian always makes the sessions fun and effective and gets results. Always treats you as an individual and tailors everything to your needs and ability, taking into account your goals and ensuring you meet or exceed them. Whatever age you are, Christian will get you to where you want to be!
I'll start off by saying that I've been to gyms and had personal trainers before, and I've never really clicked with it - I find it quite boring and dreaded each visit. I've had one session with Christian and not only was it fun, but I'm actually looking forward to my next session. He's an awesome coach and a very nice guy - I'd be happy to recommend him.
Never having been excited by the prospect of any kind of "workout class" it was with trepidation that I let Christian persuade me to go to kettlebells. How wrong I was, a great workout which lets you work as hard as YOU like, and definitely has an effect. Rather than some crazy bunch of masochists it was full of a very mixed bunch that I've got to know well over the months. You don't realise how much you have progressed until you miss a few classes and then expect to be able to simply pick up where you left off, that's a hard workout! Kettlebells adds a new aspect to what had become a slightly staid weekly routine for me. Very recognised.
I think the ratings I have given Christian speak volumes. I've tried various Personal Trainers over the years and I promise you that none of them come close to Christian. At the beginning of the year my confidence in myself and my physique was at an all time low. I’ve never been “overweight” per se but I was certainly the biggest I have ever been predominately due to medical problems but partly due to post wedding/honeymoon over-indulging. I didn’t understand why my weight was what it was as I am a Division 1 basketball player. On top of that I’ve always been a gym junkie and always thought I was eating the “right things. ” I was very unhappy and stuck in a rut. I knew I had to do something different. I met Christian in January 2010 after I’d been surfing the internet for a new and innovative form of training. I came across Christian’s website and decided to take part in his 1 month Detox Boot camp, which involved a very strict detox coupled with kettlebell training. It was extremely tough but I was beginning to feel better, sleep better and look better. Feeling motivated by the results I was seeing, I signed up to Christian’s kettlebell classes and come April I approached Christian for one on one Personal Training. I have endured 2 to 3 tough kettlebell classes per week and one Personal Training session per week – not one class or session has been the same! Since January I have lost 8% body fat. Not only am I feeling great and more confident but I have a whole new attitude to food and exercise, thanks to Christian. Christian’s knowledge and expertise in the fitness industry (including diet, nutrition and training) is truly on another level. He obviously loves what he does and this is evident in his enthusiasm during his training sessions. Christian is so motivational, and although firm very helpful and honest. The classes are fun but at the same time challenging. The blog and regular emails keep you fully informed of what is going on and regular up-dates are a great source of encouragement. Defintely worth trying if you haven't done so already. !
I found the classes of great benefit to me and would add that Christian is an exceptional trainer. I haven't trained with Christian for several months but have every intention of going back. The classes are fun and enjoyable - I would recommend his training to anyone! .
