We set up our company 5 years ago and operate in small construction and internal refurbishment areas, mainly for Local Education Authorities, throughout the country. Registration with Constructionline and CHAS is essential to remain on approved contractor lists. Christal H&S Consultants have assisted us to gain registration and maintain the systems in house to ensure continued registration with these bodies. Working on a retainer basis for the last 5 years, Christal have provided a very proffessional service with easily managed systems that fully meet our requirements at a very reasonable cost. .

We are a small company in the UK (owned by a large USA-based company) and needed urgent help and guidance in order to set-up and maintain our company H & S in order to comply with the UK H & S at Work Act. Since we did not have the capacity or experience in-house to achieve this we needed external help. We found Alan Bibby from Christal to be extremely helpful and within a few weeks we were up and running with a simple and non-complicated H&S system. Alan was prepared to 'go the extra mile' to ensure that all aspects of our H&S were covered. The work encompassed everything necessary from the top-level Company H&S and Environmental Policy Statement, Staff Safety Induction training etc. And included all necessary risk assessments (fire, manual handling, office work, use of electrical tools etc. ). He also was able to offer a risk assessment specific to our needs regarding research and development activities. Alan also set up and provided us with all of the necessary training for COSHH Assessments and the maintenance and use of the COSHH system at our company.
