Chris Stocks & The Guardians

Chris played at our wedding yesterday, he even stayed and played our first dance. We gave him a task of mashing two songs together. He sent us previews and we went back and forth until it was perfectly how we imagined it. Thank you so much Chris. The guests loved you and so did we. Thank you again!

We recently hired Chris to play at our wedding in the Lakes, both during the ceremony and the drinks reception. Our guests loved him, and he really added something extra to our wedding. Great voice, great on the guitar, and very professional. Thanks again Chris!

Chris was absolutely incredible from start to finish at our wedding! He performed a stunning acoustic set during our canapé reception, creating the perfect relaxed atmosphere, and then brought the energy to a whole new level when the band joined him for our evening reception. The dance floor was never empty – not for a single song. Chris tailored the playlist perfectly to suit our guests’ tastes, and every single track was an absolute banger. He read the room so well, and kept the energy going all night long. We’ve had so many guests tell us since how amazing he was – people genuinely haven’t stopped talking about him! Thank you, Chris, for making our wedding day so special. You brought the party and gave us a night we’ll never forget.

Having had Chris played at our wedding last year during arrival drinks we asked him back for our first wedding anniversary party last night. He is a fabulous musician and I cannot recommend him enough. He helped me with a surprise song for my husband too. Nothing was too much trouble. He’s so lovely!

Chris stepped in for us last minute, he was absolutely fantastic and we couldn’t thank him enough for making our day so special. He did an amazing job of quickly learning some of our song requests. Overall, an absolutely 10/10 performance.

Chris and the band played at my 60th Birthday party on 29th November. Having had this amazing band at our wedding in 2018, I knew they wouldn't disappoint. They certainly didn't and played brilliantly for a solid two hours. Good mix of music which definitely suited my guests as the dance floor was never empty. My family and friends loved them. The DJ set was fantastic too. Chris is always a pleasure to deal with. I would 100% recommend.

What another brilliant night. Chris and his band played at our works party in a old barn. Easy to communicate, very confident that he will show up and a lovely set of people. Music played are the classics that will get everyone up and dancing. Cannot recommend more highly.

Chris recently played at my wedding and it was an amazing experience. He was so helpful, kind and fun to be around. His live sets during our reception got every one on the dance floor (even a few people who never dance! ) and he kept the party going all night with his DJ set later on. He played the walk out song after our ceremony, as well as our first dance song and it was really special to have these played live. We planned our wedding from Colorado, and he was so helpful and responsive to my many questions over email. If you have the chance to work with him for your wedding, I highly suggest you take it!

We would 100% recommend Chris. He was the perfect start to our wedding reception playing amazing music choices to our guests straight after we said I Do. The song choices were great and the guests loved them all especially the football songs as England had just got through to the semi finals the night before our wedding. His acoustic music suited our venue and wedding so much. Amazing voice. Thank you so much Chris!

Chris made our wedding arrival drinks time so much more special with his singing and playing. It was so magical. Chris is also so friendly and helpful and was so, so kind to us. We cannot recommend him enough.

Chris and 2 members of the band played for us during our wedding evening reception a week ago. They were amazing! Communication from day 1 was easy and Chris was alway quick to respond. We made some last minute changes, adding in the band members with very little notice and they were extremely accommodating. We had the best night and you guys contributed to that hugely! We’ve had lots of our guests asking “where did you find the band! ? ” and everyone has commented on how brilliant you were. Thank you for being part of the best night of our lives!

Cannot overstate just how pleased we were with Chris Stocks and The Guardians! They performed at another event we attended in 2022 and they were absolutely brilliant so my wife and I knew we had to have them at our wedding. They did not dissapoint one bit, they were absolutely incredible. Their performance was so excellent they had the whole room up dancing the entire night. Not only that they had excellent communication with us leading up to the event, were in constant contact when necessary. Their rendition of the songs most important to my wife and I also blew everyone away and I could not have been happier, to say they did justice to the songs would be an understatement. I'd give six stars if I could, very strongly recommended.

We hired Chris and the band for our wedding, he’s becoming a regular at family weddings now so after hearing him before we knew we wanted the same for our wedding. You guys did not disappoint, from start to finish you were incredible. Our first dance song was spot on and exactly what we wanted. Chris replied to all my million questions quickly via email and helped arrange little extras for my dance with my Dad too. Nothing was too much trouble for him. The loveliest guy. Chris Stocks and The Guardians are absolutely brilliant! We hired the band for our hospital department summer party. We haven't had one since before COVID and wanted to create a brilliant atmosphere for all age ranges as everyone's families were there too. It was important to create a party atmosphere and get everyone on the dance floor and Chris and his band were fantastic and the music was perfect, great live band and everyone said how great they were. Chris was great beforehand, he wanted to get a good understanding of where the venue was, what kind of music we wanted, and was so accommodating with regards to time frames and DJ'ing between sets etc. Chris and the band had a great sound system and brought all their own lights and the live music sounded great, there was something for everyone and we would definitely recommend them.

Chris played at our drinks reception yesterday and he was fantastic. A great set list of songs which went well with all ages and styles. Amazing voice and a lovely guy. It was the perfect day! Thanks so much Chris.
