Chris had my very poorly 1980 Honda cb900f. He diagnosed the problem to bad carbs and got hold of another set and got the bike running really well. He also sorted out the diabolical front forks and rear shocks too. Nothing was too much for him as I also added a few other jobs on to the list. Very pleased with the outcome and can thoroughly recommend him. He certainly knows his stuff from classics to modern bikes.
Went to Chris for the first time last week with my Dyna Fat Bob, had an issue with the brake light. He located the issue and resolved within an hour, something that the main dealer was unable to do ! His laid back approach and nothing too much bother attitude is refreshing. An absolute gentleman and pleasure to deal with … Already booked bike in for more bits'n'pieces next month. Highly recommended.
A friend gave me Chris’ contact who used his services previously. He came highly recommended for all motorcycle work. Called Chris and explained the issues with my Triumph Rocket 3 touring bike and the diagnosis he gave me was correct as I had a detent spring that needed fixing. Did few other annual and preventative maintenance work as well for the season. I can say with great confidence and pleasure that Chris is one of the best I have dealt with for motorcycle maintenance jobs, he is great at his craft. My bike is now back in excellent condition and runs great. As importantly Chris is a great guy to talk to about motorcycles and involves the customer in detail for what the bike needs and how long it will take to finish the job. Thoroughly satisfied with Chris’ service and I absolutely recommend him for maintenance and repairs work. Great service at decent price.
I took my Honda CBR929 to Chris for reinstalling exup valve system, servo motor, cables, air box and the rest of it, can't call it a routine task. Of course the second hand part (I brought) had hidden issues but no error codes or indication. Thanks to Chris' persistence and competence he found the issue and was able to fix it right there and rode it off as it was new. Indeed a trustworthy engineer. Excellent service - highly recommended!
Once again Chris has woven his magic on my old Harley. New shocks and fork springs with this year's service and MOT mean that in addition to previous work (it now stops and goes like a proper Harley) it consequently handles 100% better. 5 star recommendation as always.
Chris has recently supplied and fitted a new battery for my motorcycle. He has also carried out some very smart modifications such as new handle bars, grips and new fork gaiters. The bike looks fantastic and the works carried out were excellent. I found the service and attention to detail excellent too. I will certainly be using this garage again and would highly recommend.
Chris is an absolute diamond. He has regularly and dependably updated and improved my ageing Harley Sportster over the past three years and I remain 100% committed to the quality and care of his work. Next year the suspension will hopefully receive the Chris Roffey treatment and both the Harley and me are both looking forward to continuing our journey.
Chris resurrected by CBR600 after many years of languishing idle in my garage. His work was excellent…It’s rare to find people with the skill and knowledge to work on what is now a pretty old bike (with very gummed up carbs). Value for money is beyond reproach. It is now running like a dream and I am a very happy biker.
2/4/20 Brought my KTM 690 Duke in for an annual service at short notice. I am an "essential worker" (NHS). They fixed the rear tyre puncture, did a complete annual service including valve check, both oil filters, both plugs and oil change etc, PLUS they straightened my aftermarket rear carrier arm which got bent after an embarrassing fall off sidestand episode (I didn't ask them to do it, just said I would get it done at some stage). Bloody marvellous. All that for just under £200 less than KTM wanted for just an annual service. Also offered useful advice on how to keep things going etc. The surroundings may not be "MW"-salubrious but you know you are getting the work done properly and that is what counts. Highly recommended.
I found Chris through an internet search as he is located near me. I found him to be very down to earth, personable and passionate about what he does. The work on my bike was not straightforward and Chris went out of his way to solve problems, keep me updated and deliver top quality client service. Would highly recommend.
Chris is a LEGEND! My girlfriend broke down this morning, Chris had passed by in his van and noticed her in a predicament. So he went back to check she was ok, he recovered her and the bike and took it to his workshop and replaced the rectifier. He has gone above and beyond to make sure she was ok. A true gentleman! Ignore the review from the lady with the Ducati, by the sound of it she was out to get a free dash as it’s a known fault with that model. Would 1000% recommend ? . Thanks Mr Chris I’ll buy you a beer next time we’re in Biggin Hill.
My bike broke down on the way to work. Have used Chris for years so called him. He collected my bike from home, took it away, diagnosed the problem and kept me informed of progress. He had it fixed AND dropped back to my house the next day, all while I was at work. Always a great service and very reasonable prices compared to main dealers and Chris provides a better service. A very handy number to have in your phone. Highly recommended.
Chris has serviced my Thunderbird for five years and his work, knowledge and attitude have on every occasion been absolutely outstanding. When I gained a non-running HD883, who sorted it out… You guessed it and it now runs perfectly (he even cleaned it up for me without asking! ). Excellent service in every respect, except for his jokes which are awful :). Chris has now transformed both the handling & the braking of the HD883, the latest improvement (following his sound research & advice) was the fitting of a Harrison Billet front disk & caliper set up during the annual service. This Harley now stops like a good bike should!
I took my rough running Street Triple to Chris when I couldn't sort it myself. With no error codes to work with Chris applied his methodical approach and after trial and error he found the problem and fixed it. It was great watching an expert at work and we had a good old chat and laugh, Chris has great experience in the motorcycle trade and his costs are reasonable. Not being a fan of Dealer franchises I recommend Chris and his services, you won't be disappointed. I'll be back Chris if a problem occurs I can't sort myself, hopefully not too soon!
My son recently bought a Gilera Runner Pure Jet from a guy in Essex. Got it home and it worked for 5 mins then conked out. Contacted Chris. He collected the bike and we had it back a week later all repaired and running like a dream. I seriously think this chap is fantastic as most of our local bike dealers would not touch it. We will only use Chris now. Thanks so much. Peter and Jack Lawrence.
