Fantastic tutoring company. Tutor was perfectly matched to our daughter. We have seen real improvement in her confidence since the sessions began. I asked my daughter why she likes Jenny and she said - she is really patient, she makes maths fun and she gives me lots of different methods so I don't get stuck in lessons. We were hesitant about involving a tutor for fear of it putting pressure on our daughter. Jenny has been nothing but positive and encouraging. She is a wonderful tutor and our daughter has really benefitted!

I contacted CHT in autumn last year after my Y6 daughter suddenly decided she wanted to try out for the very competitive Manchester girls schools in the January. They sent along Amanda and Jane who each had a different but complimentary approach. Both were excellent tutors and both brought out the best in my daughter helping her reach her potential and not only get offers from the schools she sat for but also a clutch of scholarships too. Their approach was thorough and methodical and despite the small amount of time they had with my daughter, I firmly believe their help and input made the difference. My son has just completed three days tuition by Choice Home Tutoring. I have been very impressed with the professional approach of his tutor, Jill, and the tailoring of the coaching to his requirements. Getting a tutor for my son was not a route I really wanted to go down; getting him to do his homework without tears and arguments was hard enough, I really didn't want to be adding to his list of stresses with extra work. I need not have worried however, he enjoys his tutor sessions and actually looks forward to them every week. Jo from CHT understood that finding the right tutor was the key which is why I used an agency with lots of choice at their fingertips. Should I have needed to change tutors I know that Jo would have handled that side of things rather than leaving me with the awkward conversations and hassle of finding somebody else. That hasn't been necessary though because she did such a great job of matching us with the right person. Right from the start my son has responded to him - he is cool, clever and inspiring in a way that parents rarely are! My son's teachers and I are already seeing a difference in his approach to work as well as the quality of it. I would recommend using CHT to anybody.

My daughter has been with Choice Home Tutoring for over 3 years. Jo took time to speak to me at length regarding my requirements and ensured the best fit with tutor, Pam. Pam has been amazing and I cannot recommend her more highly. My daughter absolutely loves her and Pam has a way to get her working even when she's been 'pre-teen' particularly difficult. All in all, a positive experience for both myself and my daughter.

We have worked with Gemma as part of her work with Choice home tutoring. We found Gemma to be adaptable, friendly, flexible and so in tune with what our daughter needed at various points. Gemma put everything into tutoring our daughter, a real shining example to other tutors. She really cares and is so passionate about learning and transmits that to our daughter.

I looked into getting a tutor for my daughter for the final months leading up to her GCSEs, I couldn't believe the vast amounts of tutors there were available, I was overwhelmed and unsure where to start…from the second I spoke to people at choice home tutoring I knew I'd made the right choice. After a chat with Jill and Jo they completely put my mind at ease. They both understood the needs of what Caitlin required and put things in place quickly, they even took into account family meals that are a must for us. They put us into contact with 3 of their tutors (Maths, Science and English) whom I had telephone conversations with before they started to make sure they could deliver what was required, each tutor was amazing, Caitlin came on leaps and bounds to say the least. The tutors where very flexible and was willing to go the extra mile if needed to, each tutor came complete with everything that was required for that lesson which made it easier for Caitlin to not worry about things she made need. They were all lovely people and they put Caitlin at ease straight away, they also had a depth of knowledge in each of their subjects. I was in contact with Jo and Jill throughout as they wanted to make sure that everything was running smoothly. I cannot recommend this company enough, everything they did was fantastic and of a very high standard.

I finished my week of GCSE sessions with Choice Home Tutoring feeling much more confident and knowledgeable in tackling my GCSE exams which is exactly what I'd signed up for. Your friendly and informative tutors made the learning much more enjoyable. Thanks Choice Home Tutoring!
