CHF Livery

I have had my horse at CHF Livery for 5 months now and I have to say it's the best move I ever made. The rota system that is in place makes it easier for me than it ever has been before and I know I can leave my horse without seeing him for a couple of days and not be worrying about him as I know he is being well looked after. The riding out nearby is lovely and there is always someone about to ride whether you want a quick blast or a nice settled one. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a friendly and welcoming yard and knowing someone is on site 24/7 gives you that extra peace of mind.

I have kept my mare at CHF for just over a year and I can't imagine ever moving her (unless I was ever very lucky enough to get my own place)! The rota system means that Juggling my horse around my full time job and a young family is easy. I am unable to visit my horse every day but at CHF I have the peace of mind that she is being cared for and checked on at least twice a day. The owner also lives on site and We often receive peace of mind texts in the evening or late at night when there is excessive wind, fireworks nearby (which is rare) or just plain dam cold to reassure us that all horses are fine and doing well. At CHF you are left alone to do your own thing but if, like me, you need some guidance or support with horsey related issues there are plenty of people on hand and willing to help. I was apprehensive about the fencing being solely electric but the owner highly maintains this fencing and maintains it to very high standards all year round. At the beginning of the year my mare became lame and the owner came out in the pitch black freezing cold and was able to help me, give me advise. She helped me with 2x daily dressings and when I was unable to go to the yard she changed them for me. The surrounding area has some brilliant rides and a few bridle paths and there's almost always someone who is up for a ride out when you are! Would I recommend CHF to anyone else? My horse has been at CHF Livery for nearly nine months. The rota system enables me to balance having a horse with working to pay for said horse! I can enjoy my horse without having to prioritise chores. I have found it to be a relaxed and welcoming yard and I had lots of support when my horse went lame - and as he has returned to work. I was new to the horsey community when I moved to Lincolnshire and am pleased I found this yard.
