Ceramic Restoration

Hugo has already repaired four items of great sentimental value for me… Three oriental vases and a worcester cherub. I am about to take a jardiniere by William Moorcroft and am confident that the same magic will happen at a very reasonable cost. He is amazingly talented and thorough and a charming man as well. I cant recommend him highly enough. There was large piece missing from the urn.

Earlier in the year, my wife smashed the vase her late mother gave her. She was very upset. I swept up the pieces and unbeknown to my wife, took them to Hugo at CeramicRestorations. I did not hold out much hope as it was in hundreds if pieces. Somehow Hugo pieced together the vase! A true craftsman and a really nice bloke too! It didn't cost half as much as I thought it would and my wife was overjoyed. We had tears…Happy tears. Thank you Hugo.

Just had repaired my ceramic Tower of London Poppy - I had broken two petals off as it fell into the hearth and shattered. Hugo has just done an amazing job in replacing the two petals - looks as good as it did when I purchased it. I will highly recommend Ceramic Restoration to anyone seeking a good restorer.

Hugo restored 2 pairs of figurines which were given by my grandmother to my grandfather as a wedding present. They were antiques then and are now over 200 years old. After Hugo's work they now look as I remember them when I was a boy. Many thanks.

I know it is only a mug and not worth anything but it has a big sentimental value to us and when I dropped it and broke the handle into several pieces I was upset. I found Hugo and he did a wonderful repair as you can't tell it has been repaired as it looks as good as new. I would recommend Hugo for your china/ceramic repairs. A job well done Hugo.

I had two vases restored by Hugo. Quite amazing you cannot see where the damage was and his skill in colour matching means that these vases are as good as new. We have some other items of fine china that we will certainly give to Hugo. He is a real expert and so helpful ensuring we are delighted with the finish product.

Hugo has just repaired a broken pottery Welsh Dragon which although not valuable had great sentimental value. I had accidently knocked it over and one wing had completely broken off. I recently gave Hugo an antique coalport ewer to repair as it had a tip of one of the handles missing and needed restoring and gilding. It was repaired in 4 days and the workmanship was top drawer. I would have no hesitation in recommending Hugo to anybody who needs some porcelain repaired.

I recently had two items restored by Hugo,(CERAMIC RESTORATIONS). A Beswick Cockatoo and an Italian Ceramic Lamp Stand in the form of a violin decorated with cherubs, variouys flowers and other adornments the restoration and workmanship on both items is excellent and it is impossible to see where the resoration has been carried out. I have just collected a newly repaired piece of Lladro Elite gres. Even with magnification, the repair is totally invisible - I am thrilled with the result. What's more, I had the piece back in six days, which absolutely amazed me. To be honest, I approached the company in fear of what the repair might cost me, but I could hardly believe how low the final bill was. Hugo, the company owner, is a real pleasure to meet, too.
