I am not a tenant of CHG but a neighbour of one who is renting from this agency. For the past 4 years me and my family have been harassed, intimidated and bullied by a lady who rents from CHG. Having gone down all avenues and with no luck I finally found out she rents from CHG so I sent them an email asking for help to which a Katherine Brook replied, she will not be assisting me in this matter. On there own website is states tenants code of conduct and they have failed to act on it. There is a whole page of what's expected from tenants. I have council letters, police records, an actual harassment case pending all of which was sent to CHG and Katherine Brook and Co. Has chosen to ignore it. Imagine having your kids watched via your neighbours CCTV on 3 occasions, imagine being woken up to banging on the wall at 01. 30 and 04.30 purposely to disrupt your sleep, imagine being told to take an overdose in front of your young children by your neighbour and her friends. That is only a small portion of what CHG's tenant is doing to me and my family and they are offering no help. 4 years me and my kids have had to deal with this with no help from anybody. I gave my property to Central Housing for management after having a bad experience with an alternative management company. I have to say that they are very professional and manage the property extremely well. I don't have any worries and I know that the property is being well looked after. I would have no hesitation in recommending Central Housing as a property management company.

I have a rental property with Central Housing for well over a decade now and am going to stay with them for the foreseeable future as it's the most hassle free and peace of mind way to rent the property and have it fully managed. There is a fantastic team in the background, managing the property and looking after the condition of the property, and they have their own contractors whom they use for all aspects of repairs needed which are generally more cost effective than going private. Whilst the rent received may be a little below market rates, once you have saved your monthly agents commission, the cost of having the property sitting empty at odd periods and all the other time and effort spent on preparing new tenancies, check-ins, check-outs etc. It's quite simply a no-brainer. Well done Romesh, Jo, Maria and all for providing a great hassle free rental service.
