Centaur Training provides individuals with professional training either in-house or at local venues. The majority of Centaurs trainers have a emergency service or health care background, and due to their up to date knowledge and experience ensure all students qualify as competent practitioners. Trainers are choosen not only for their expertise, but also for their personalities, thus ensuring they deliver training in a relaxed, informative, enjoyable and entertaining manner.

Centaur Training Services is a member of the First Aid Industry Body, Qualsafe, TQUK, IOSH, HABC and MHFA England.
The company is managed by Rose Watkins who has been involved in training for many years. Rose has also 30 years experience in working for the NHS and has delivered training all over the world (along with many Centaur trainers, who give up their time freely to carry this out ) for a fire Service charity called Operation Florian.
All Centaur courses are approved and accredited by the appropriate awarding bodies including Qualsafe Awards, Highfield, FAIB, CIEH, IOSH, TQUK and MHFA England.

We needed 3 of our staff to undertake training in Manual Handling and 1st Aid. As we had heard only good things about Centaur Training Services (North West) Ltd we decided to ask them to train our staff. They were happy to use our facilities for the training sessions especially as the Manual Handling training could be built around what our staff undertake in their daily work. The excellent instructor made our staff feel at ease with his professional and knowledgeable manner. Our staff really enjoyed their training and found the sessions interesting and a valuable asset and also now feel more confident should anything happen in the workplace. I have just attended a 3 Day First Aid at Work course with Centaur and I was very impressed with the training and the trainer. The trainer had personal experience of using first aid in his profession and so I found he could relate the things he was teaching me to real life scenarios. The course was well put together with just the right amount of practical so I want getting board being taught at all the time. Really enjoyed the course and will use again in 3 years.

I really enjoyed the training i had with Centaur training group. The trainer was every friendly and helpful. He had alot of experience in the area and so was interesting to listen to throughout. Overall, the service was brilliant. Administration side was very efficient and details were available promptly. Will use them again.
