Celebration Ceremonies and Weddings specialise in writing, designing and conducting personal wedding and renewal of vows ceremonies that have heart, soul and personality that can be held in off the beaten track venues, in private home and estates or outdoors.

Some brides worry about being too "different" our brides worry about being "the same"! We work with you both to create a unique and bespoke ceremony that makes you feel "this is us". You are free to include your own vows and promises, choose which traditions you you want to take, break or give a new take, include secular, spiritual or religious references and your ceremony can be as relaxed or as formal as your wish.

We create garden weddings, woodland weddings, barn and farm weddings, country weddings, festival weddings and any outdoor weddings- it doesn’t have to be licensed.

Based in Yorkshire but we travel the UK and Europe. We're are are nationally qualified and approved by Government training body Ofqual in Wedding Ceremonies.

Jan Shillito runs the company and is a fully qualified celebrant, designer and client service professional.

With a handpicked team of professional designers, illustrators, writers and conductors, project managers Jan pulls in the right people to create your day. Celebration Ceremonies and Weddings.

We like to meet or have a conversation to discuss your wedding plans, requirements and the different options we offer before we quote as it really is a bespoke service. Whether you have found "the" place or need some help to find hidden gems we do like to be involved at the early stages of your planning as ideas for you ceremony can influence decisions for other elements of you day.

To create a co-ordinated look and feel we offer additional wedding services: styling, stationary design, monogram design, on the day co-ordination in addition to writing and conducting your ceremony.

On making a booking and completing an informal questionnaire we meet for a consultation where we discuss ideas and spend time listening to what's important to you and getting to know your world so. We then create the first draft of your ceremony script.
