A really beautifully made mask. I have seen a number of other efforts from, so called experts but nothing to compare to the quality of this. This lady obviously knows her stuff. I would highly recommend her products.

After my seamstress let me down 10 days before my wedding, Cathy came to my rescue and did an amazing job with the alterations on my wedding dress, all 8 layers of it. I instantly felt relaxed when I met Cathy. I've recommended her to several people since and wouldn't think twice where to go the next time I need anything altering. She is fantastic!

Cathy did numerous alterations to my daughters prom dress and her work was outstanding. She then made further alterations when we wanted the same dress shortened for a wedding -not an easy task with all those layers! Again, her attention detail and work were fantastic!

Cathy provided a brilliant service… she undertook a very arduous task of taking up the hem of a long dress that I had purchased for a wedding. The dress was embellished with various beads and sequins which I didn't even think about when purchasing the dress. Cathy performed a very reliable service and professionally took up the hem by securing the beads and sequins along the way! This must have been a tedious job for her but the dress looked lovely as an end result. The alterations were completed very promptly and in plenty of time for my event.

I wanted an alteration made to my 'Ladies Day' outfit, Cathy was more than happy to take it on at such short notice. I am so pleased with the end result, it's perfect! Cathy done a fantastic job, I would recommend her to anyone in need of a seamstress!

Cathy has recently made us some beautiful new curtains to replace some that were damaged in a flood at our house. We have hung the curtains today and they look really lovely. Cathy was incredibly helpful and very patient with me at a difficult time! I have no hesitation in recommending her to anyone.

Cathy put a long split into a sequin evening gown for me. It Knew it would be a lengthy and very fiddly job, infact other dressmakers said they couldn't do the job. Not Cathy! I needed 2 tops taken in, 2 pairs of boys school trousers repaired under crutch and an owl teddy needed some first aid to repair his wing after the dogs got hold of it, I had to post all of this as I have moved out of the area and have known Cathy for a few years, Cathy done a marvellous job on everything and my little boy was so happy with his owl, I posted off on a Monday and received it all back on the Saturday, I would highly recommend Cathy and will definitely be using her services again myself.

After being let down by a number of local companies I found Cathy via Facebook. She replied to my plea very quickly and organised to see me within the same week. Although not local, the service Cathy provided was worth the drive! She was able to make alterations to a bridesmaid dress for me, including repairing a rip in the seam I hadn't noticed within a week. Her work is perfect and I could not thank her enough for helping me at short notice! Thank you Cathy!

Cathy went above and beyond to make the alterations I needed to my wedding dress only 6 days before my wedding. She completely re-created the modesty panel at the back of my dress and also crafted the most beautiful roses as an embellishment to the dress which hid the fact that the material was pulling across my hips. She did such a good job that everyone thought that the dress was designed that way! Cathy is quick to respond to queries and the thing I loved most about her is her honesty. My initial wedding dress had a button back but the back of the dress was a sheer material adorned with Swarovski crystals. I wanted it converted to a corset back and although Cathy said she could do the job, she did tell me that it just wouldn't look natural on that dress. It would be really obvious that a hefty change had been made to an already beautiful dress, and the alteration being out of place would detract from how beautiful the rest of the gown actually was. I had a contingency dress as the initial dress was too small, due to weight gain through illness and thanks to Cathy's hard work in the heat of Summer I wore a dress that I was comfortable in because she made it fit like a glove. I needed 2 bridemaids dresses altered. She explained exactly what she will do. When we picked up the dresses they were perfect. Her work is brilliant and she is very helpful. I highly recommend Cathy.

Cathy is just brilliant! Her work is of the highest quality. She is friendly, helpful, and she takes the time to ask the right questions to really understand what you desire. And most importantly, when she agrees to a deadline she always makes it! I can't recommend Cathy's Allsorts enough!

Had a shirt not just altered but totally rebuilt! Work carried out to a very high standard with great attention to detail. Will definately be using again!

I approached Cathy to make alterations to three bridesmaid's dresses for my daughter's wedding. Cathy explained fully what and how she would do the alterations which included cutting the dresses to just below knee length, making wraps with the left over material and taking/letting out seams, darts as necessary. Each bridesmaid had two fittings and last minute alterations were made the day before the wedding. The girls looked stunning in their finished dresses and received so many compliments. I found Cathy to be reliable and her work impeccable and would definitely recommend her.
