Carl Stacey Guitar Tuition

Our 8 year old son has been having electric guitar lessons with Carl since October and has come on massively since starting. Him and Carl have a similar taste in music which our son loves and he has been helpful in advising what amps and plectrums are best. Although our son has a short attention span and is easily distracted, Carl adapts his teaching ‘methods to meet his needs and encourages him to keep going. Our son has even started to write his own songs. Our son says: I love rocking out and love learning to play guitar with Carl.

I've been trying to. Learn guitar on and off for years and decided to give it one last go. I've been with carl around four months now and his teaching style really suits me. He understands people can't always find time to practice with work commitments and never rushes just allows you to go at your own pace. I have noticed development and am currently rehearsing for one of his student shows. I highly recommend carl.

We were first introduced to Carl through a different teaching organisation and actively searched for him after our children had a break in learning music. Our son and daughters have all responded positively to Carl’s enthusiastic instruction. We feel he tailors his tuition to individual students and for our kids breaking down familiar and new (to them) rock songs has allowed them all to progress with skill and confidence without pressure.

Really good lessons that have taught me a lot, felt comfortable asking questions about things I'm struggling with technique wise.

Carl has been teaching my 7 year old for almost a year now and following on from what I said in Mar 2024, I'm still so impressed. He played in his first gig organised by Carl recently and has learned so much. Carl's tuition is more than just a few lessons it's fun, motivational and he gets to do cool extra things like play in a band with others of a similar level.

Cannot fault Carl one bit. A patient, understanding and skillful teacher who really helps my playing. Structure through the weeks is really good, pacing keeps up with new things while keeping a consistent plan. I've been playing for over a year now and have seen my skills sky rocket since working with Carl. 100% recommend. .

I decided to start learning guitar at 24 and came to Carl for lessons. With his teaching, I gained a love of the instrument and started learning to play music I genuinely enjoyed. His lessons are clear and fun, and I saw a huge improvement with his help! :).

Had a couple of guitar tutors in the past but I thought they were just after the money. Been working with carl for a few weeks now and I'm moving on at a decent pace nice and friendly and as carl says it's all good .
