Carl Stacey Guitar Tuition

My 14 year old daughter has been going to 1-1 lessons with Carl for only a short while. Even after the first 2 lessons however it was evident how far she had came along in such a short space of time whilst playing. Carl is patient and clearly very talented in his teaching ability. A few more lessons in and my daughter is coming on fantastic! Its unbelievable what she has picked up and learnt already! Id highly recommend Carl to anyone wanting to learn electric guitar!

Carl is such a great teacher when it comes to learning the guitar, there is no pressure at all with him and he knows how to explain everything correctly in a simple way to understanding the guitar without complicating things. I couldn’t ask for a better teacher… thank you so much Carl for everything you have taught me over this year, it is all really appreciated!

Great way to learn to play guitar or bass in my case. Carl is a top lad and a great tutor and makes the previously-frustrating experience of trying to learn to play into a veritable joy to do so! Always recommend!

After years of messing learning on YouTube and not getting far I started attending Carl's classes and at last I can see light at the end of the tunnel, his teaching style is layed back relaxed but he has a definite structure planed in there , makes it more of a fun thing than a chore , his other students that I have met all say the same I would have no problem recommending his services not a thing I would say lightly, he has definitely made a massive improvement on my playing abilities.

My daughter(11) and I are learning rock guitar with Carl. Only 2 months in but she’s loving it and is really comfortable in the lessons as she’s usually a bit shy. Carl is a fantastic teacher, explaining and demonstrating things very clearly and crams a lot into each lesson. We really can’t wait to get a few months down the line and be much improved.

I've been having acoustic guitar lessons with Carl for about 4 months. After trying to teach myself for about a year I decided it was time to get some lessons to help me progress further. I've learnt so much already about music scales, techniques and new skills such as finger picking. His lessons are engaging and practical and always leave me feeling motivated to learn more. He has a patient and encouraging approach and his lessons are very affordable. Would definitely recommend.

Carl is very very good at what he does my daughter takes lessons with him and he puts her at ease she is very shy and finds it hard to start new activity's but she's settled in well and is enjoying every minute of her lessons. Carl teaches her at her own pace I highly recommend carl.

I had been playing guitar blindly for years… Decided it was time to maybe learn about what I've been playing… Enter Carl! Started to build my theory on a weekly basis… Broken down into easily digested information, lessons are both constructive and informative…… Maybe you can teach a old dog new tricks! ? .

My daughter has just started having lessons again with Carl as she wants to progress further. She has learnt so much in just a couple of weeks. Carl is very punctual and professional and I would not hesitate to recommend to others.

As someone with very little musical ability, Carl has really helped me in taking up bass and finding enjoyment in a new hobby. The lessons are very relaxed and there’s no pressure of pushing too far head without knowing the basics. He’s managed to make someone who had little to no confidence in her musical talent, actually sound like a real bass player. He’s available to answer any questions I have and never makes you feel bad for making mistakes. All in all, a pleasant experience every week!

Our 8 year old son has been having electric guitar lessons with Carl since October and has come on massively since starting. Him and Carl have a similar taste in music which our son loves and he has been helpful in advising what amps and plectrums are best. Although our son has a short attention span and is easily distracted, Carl adapts his teaching ‘methods to meet his needs and encourages him to keep going. Our son has even started to write his own songs. Our son says: I love rocking out and love learning to play guitar with Carl.

I've been trying to. Learn guitar on and off for years and decided to give it one last go. I've been with carl around four months now and his teaching style really suits me. He understands people can't always find time to practice with work commitments and never rushes just allows you to go at your own pace. I have noticed development and am currently rehearsing for one of his student shows. I highly recommend carl.

We were first introduced to Carl through a different teaching organisation and actively searched for him after our children had a break in learning music. Our son and daughters have all responded positively to Carl’s enthusiastic instruction. We feel he tailors his tuition to individual students and for our kids breaking down familiar and new (to them) rock songs has allowed them all to progress with skill and confidence without pressure.
