Carl Gambrell Hairdressing

I believe this person to be a con artist. I paid him £750 for hair extensions which he requested I pay him before my appointment. On the day of my appointment he cancelled by messenger at the time of the appointment and promised he’d come later that day. He then cancelled later that day and said he’d 100% be there the next day. This went on for 5 days with different excuses including:His car is in the garage He thought I lived somewhere else He forgot to set his alarm He was under the weather His bank account got restricted He’s refusing to refund me because he says his bank won’t let him get the money. He’s not trustworthy. I then looked into his reviews and Instagram photos and believe them to be fake having asked some of the celebrities who he says he’s worked with. Just avoid!

I have just had my fitting of extensions with Carl for my wedding. From the onset Carl has been super professional and helpful, Carl has fitted my hair extensions before but these ones I've had in are super quality and everything I asked for. Thank you so so much, one happy bride to be :) if you are looking for the right person for your hair look no further …. Especially if you're incredibly fussy and have a special occasion. Carl has taken amazing care through the whole process especially when I've been stressed out with wedding plans.

Carl is extremely talented and dedicated to his work he works at many events with our team and never fails to wow the guests with his knowledge finesse and expertise.

I have worked with Carl on numerous event work and Carl has also coloured and cut my hair for me, amazing technique and his customer service is second to none. Carl really listens to his clients and will guide them through a thorough consultation and give advice and ideas for your hair His extension work is phenomenal the best that I have seen, always on schedule, friendly and professional.

I found Carl on shpock and too be honest a was be worried whether he would do a good job or not as finding a new hairdresser to to do your hair you’ve never been to before is always worrying. I wanted new hair extentions baylage and keratin blow dry. Well Carl exceeded all my expectations he is literally amazing. He is very knowledgeable and his results are perfect. As well as being amazing at his work he’s so friendly and easy to talk to so you feel comfortable straight away. He clearly loves his job and does it because he likes seeing the results at the end not just for making money. When you have someone who cares about the client more than the profit they make then you can’t go wrong as your hair will always look it’s best. I will never go to a salon again or change my hairdresser because Carl can do everything I need. My hair looks and feels wonderful seriously couldn’t ask for more. Highly recommend.Moreexpand_more

Carl was just so helpful from the time we had a consultation to finish. I felt like I trust his judgment as he made me feel at ease and really knew what I needed. I have had hair extensions sir a few years and it is hard to find someone who does colouring and cutting as well as hair extensions.

Absolutely over the moon with my hair! I got completely screwed over by my old hair dresser so I got in contact with Carl and he came to the rescue! My hair was suppose to have blonde balayage on my natural ginger and I was left with block lines of bleach blonde hair (looked like bad highlights with awful roots) and the layers weren't event layers they were random chunks. Carl faded the blonde and cut into the layers and then did a Brazilian blow dry with keratin and now my hair doesn't only look amazing! It feels brand new! So soft! Wouldn't ever go to anyone else for my hair.

Carl never fails to disappoint. He delivers the most exceptional look and I have had many hairdressers before. I love my colour, keratin and extensions. Carl you are my hair guru! Fully recommend, I wouldn't use anyone else now. Thank you Carl :).

Over the moon with my luscious blonde hair best hair extensions I’ve had yet very reasonably priced and to top it of excellent colourist and he’s always there to keep my hair maintained thanks Carl keep up the good work X.

Carl came to my home to colour and cut my hair. He gave me tips on what products to use to keep my hair in good condition and also explained the colours he was using and why. The colour is lovely and has given my hair an even colour and a beautiful shine. Ive booked my next appointment and will be booking a Brazilian blow dry soon too. I will definitely recommend Carl to my friends!

I've known Carl a few years now from when I 1st came to Manchester back in the mid 2000's, as soon as I found out about him being mobile in hairdressing I jumped at the chance on getting him, not only am I getting a friend doing my hair but I feel I can be honest with him and to this day after many years he's been nothing but perfect at knowing what I want. Very reliable and flexible with appointment bookings too. Well Recomended. Keep up the good work Carl.

Several years ago I was looking for a mobile hairdresser to save taking my young daughter in to town. I found Carl and I'm so glad I did. He has dealt with the typical age related rainbow of emotions from her and his patience and professional attitude have remained. He's always so warm and cheerful even having been bounced on by the dog. But mostly he has constantly produced fantastic hair styling and colouring for myself. I have, would and do highly recommend Carl to my friends. Great job, great price, great guy.

Hair extensions what hair extensions? I love them. I asked for natural looking long hair and Carl gave me exactly that. Amazing colour and length. Great cut and really flexible with appt times and after care support. Love them and highly recommend Carl. Thank you for my transformation.

Carl has done my hair on three occasions now, previously I went to a trendy NQ barbers in Manchester. I wish someone had recommended him before, Because I have had more compliments since the swop and its cost me less! Highly recommend.
