Capital Cats and Canines provides busy professionals with a high quality pet care service that is tailored to the needs' of their pet/s i. E. Length of their walk; games played, to giving medication and feeding requirements. All pets have their own unique characteristics and Capital Cats and Canines are flexible in providing such a personalised and unique service.
The business can supply a range of pet care services that will ensure a happy pet greets the owner when they come home. All requirements are discussed at a free initial consultation with the client.
Services include: - one-to-one dog walking; household/neighbourhood group dog walking (up to three) ; pop in dog services; puppy socialisation; elderly dog care; cat sitting; home boarding for smaller pets and a pet transportation service.
A free report is given after each walk/pet sit.
The business is managed by Vivienne Moir who is very passionate and involved in animal welfare issues and has been from a very early age. Vivienne has previously worked as a manager in fundraising, marketing and communications.
Vivienne has a BSc Biology (Honours) degree from Aberdeen University which included animal behaviour courses. She also has been trained in dog and cat first aid through completing an Animal Aiders Course. Vivienne believes in positive reinforcement techniques and is a huge fan of Victoria Stilwell. She is also a member of APSE (Association of Petsitting Excellence) that is based in the US.
