The Accountancy Programme at British Learning Centre exceeded my expectations. The training was very structured and focused on the skills employers actually look for, like Sage 50, VAT submissions, and financial reporting. My placement was at a accountancy practice where I gained hands on experience preparing client accounts and reconciling bank statements. At the end of my placement, they offered me a Accounts Assistant role which I happily accepted. This programme was exactly what I needed to break into the industry.
I couldn’t be happier with the outcome of the Accountancy Program at British Learning Centre. The training was clear, practical, and focused on real-world accounting software like Sage 50 and Excel. The placement was the highlight, I worked directly under a Senior Accountant in a busy firm and got involved in preparing financial statements, handling invoices, and even supporting with payroll. At the end of the three months, I was offered a full-time Accounts Assistant position. This program gave me everything I needed to confidently enter the industry. Highly recommended!
I had a great experience with British Learning Centre. The training was easy to follow and gave me a solid understanding of HR fundamentals. The placement was really valuable - I supported the HR team at a healthcare company and got involved in onboarding, employee records, and even helping with interviews. The only reason I’m giving 4 stars instead of 5 is because there was a bit of a delay in confirming my placement. But once it started, everything went smoothly. I’ve since secured a permanent HR Admin role thanks to the experience I gained here!
I recently completed the HR programme at The British Learning Centre and found it to be really practical, with modules covering everything from recruitment and onboarding to employment law. The tutor was knowledgeable and offered helpful advice during our live Q&A sessions, which made the material easier to understand. I appreciated the real-life case studies and the mock interviews, which definitely boosted my confidence for future job applications. My only complaint is that some of the course resources felt a bit dated, and I wish there were more interactive group activities. Still, it’s a good starting point for anyone wanting to move into HR.
I enrolled in the Accounting programme at The British Learning Centre after reading a lot of positive reviews, and honestly, it exceeded my expectations. The course was structured with a mix of online content with practical assignments, so I was actually applying what I learned from day one. My mentor always checked in, provided helpful feedback, and was quick to answer even the smallest questions. What really made a difference for me was the work placement by the end of the course, I was already using Sage 50 and Excel with real client data. Thanks to this programme, I secured my first job in finance just two weeks after completing the course!
Completed the Accounting training and placement but was not paid during the placement. The accountant put a lot of pressure on me for a trainee and expected me to come into the office all day, was not expecting it to be this difficult and was a little overwhelming. They delivered everything as promised but really wish I was placed in a smaller firm with less people.
The HR course was structured exactly like a CIPD qualification, with clear modules on recruitment, employment law, and performance management. I loved the real world case studies and the tutor’s coaching especially during mock interviews. After completing the work placement, I was offered a junior HR role at a local firm. I couldn’t be happier with the support and practical learning.
I completed the Accounting programme at The British Learning Centre and was surprised by how hands on it really was. We covered Sage 50 and Excel in depth, and I even spent afternoons working on real ledger entries and reconciling budgets, just like in a finance team. My mentor’s feedback was prompt and really helped me improve. At the end, I had work placement hours that boosted my CV and landed me a trainee job within 2 months.
